Pilar has two children and
very little furniture. Up until
coming to Friends In Deed,
Pilar, Madyson (2) and Carter
(1) were sharing a blow-up
mattress. With help from
Friends In Deed, Pilar
surprised her two children
with a crib, twin bed, couch,
table, chairs and TV — all in
time for the holidays.

Brian, his wife and five
children - ages 3, 9, 14,
15 & 16 - have been
without a car for about
a year. Having no
transportation made
day-to-day living hard
for the family. For Brian
to get to work, he had to rely on friends for a
ride. While his family was thankful for the
support, with no regular transportation, his wife
could not get a job. Friends In Deed was able to
help by passing on a donated minivan. Brian and
his family are extremely happy and thankful.

car repairs, utility shut offs, and prescriptions
