The ivory bas-reliefs on the south wall are reproductions
of Luca della RobbiaÕs Cantoria, now found in Florence,
ItalyÕs Museo dellÕOpera del Duomo.
Palermo is famous for the ÒOpera dei PupiÓ (puppets).
Our two corner booths feature scenes from MascagniÕs
opera Cavalleria Rusticana and three knights from the
ÒStoria di Orlando e RinaldoÓ.

Hippocrates (not the Physician), Gelon, Empedocles,
Dionysius and Archimedes.
