Trowel on a first coat to cover the
surface.

Comb the trowel on the surface until

motion. Allow the resulting pattern to
remain before applying another

Let the surface dry for

Using leaves with prominent designs,

Carefully remove the leaves as the

Allow the coat to slightly harden. Then
by using the opening of a drinking
glass or a plastic cup, make
intersecting circular prints.

Trowel on a coat of a cement paint
with a color contrasting that of the
paint to be used for “bricks.” Allow
the coat to fully dry and harden
before attaching/taping the brick
pattern guide.
Then trowel on a coat of the paint
designated for “bricks.”

before peeling off the pattern

Using a wet sponge, dab it to the
coated surface to cover the sponge

and dry (approximately 20
minutes), before knocking

lightly draw a brush across the
surface using a wavy path to give the
desired effect. Keep the bristles free
from mortar build-up by knocking the
