This understanding guides us, as one team, to leverage our vast capabilities
across sectors and shape each client’s project for long-term success. Our large
geographic footprint and rigorous processes and tools enable us to meet diverse
client needs. Our key strength lies in our ability to provide full life cycle solutions
at a varying scale. We also have a track record of delivering large and very complex
projects, from start to finish, in the most remote locations. This may include providing
environmental services, financing, core facilities and non-core infrastructure, such
as captive power and water supply. We also operate and maintain client facilities,
and train local workforces, enhancing both the client and community’s sustainability.
All while meeting the strictest health and safety, ethics and compliance, environmental
and quality standards.

Success begins and ends
with our clients
Building a sustainable future
When we take steps to foster a “zero harm” health and safety culture at our offices and
on project sites, we’re acting responsibly. When we support local initiatives and promote
Aboriginal inclusion on projects, we’re a force for positive social change. Through our Local
Resources Development Initiative (LRDI™), we help clients build local capacity and generate
economic value for communities by sourcing, hiring and training locally.
We’ll continue to work hard, every day, to leave a larger economic and social footprint
in local communities and minimize the environmental impact of our offices and projects.
Values that guide us
Our values keep us anchored and on track.
They speak to how we run our business,
how we express ourselves as a group,
and how we engage with our stakeholders
and inspire their trust.
Teamwork & excellence
We’re innovative, collaborative,
competent and visionary.
Customer focus
Our business exists to serve and add
long-term value to our customers’
organizations.
Strong investor return
We seek to reward our investors’ trust
by delivering competitive returns.
Health & safety, security and environment
We have a responsibility to protect
everyone who comes into contact with
our organization and the environment
we work in.
Ethics & compliance
We’re committed to ethical business.
Respect
Our actions consistently demonstrate
respect toward our stakeholders.
After all, this is part of building what matters.
Infrastructure expertise
Mining and metallurgy expertise
Population growth, industrial development and a rising quality of life are driving the need
for new and rehabilitated infrastructure. We address the full life cycle of infrastructure,
from making equity investments and arranging financing, to providing engineering,
construction, and operations and maintenance services.
We provide solutions that cover the full mining solutions from pit-to-port, including
studies, sustaining capital work and major projects for most commodities in the
industry. Our integrated sectors also provide solutions to infrastructure, energy and
concessions needs for our mining clients.

Key projects
Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit – Canada
As a partner in Crosslinx Transit Solutions, we are providing the design, build, financing
and 30-year maintenance and rehabilitation of the Eglinton Crosstown. The 19-km light
rail line will include 25 stations and stops linking commuters to bus routes, three subway
stations and various GO Transit lines.
Key projects
New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project – Canada
Through our 50% stake in the Signature on the Saint Lawrence Group (SSL), we will design,
build, and finance the New Champlain Bridge Corridor Project and deliver a safe, sustainable
bridge that is critical to Canada and Quebec’s economic growth. SSL will also operate,
maintain and rehabilitate the bridge until 2049.
Agrium Vault – Canada
Expansion of the Vanscoy potash facility added approximately one million tonnes or nearly
50% of annual production capacity to the mine and related processing facilities.
Ambatovy Nickel – Madagascar
Successful execution of the most ambitious and complex industrial project in Madagascar’s
history included overcoming significant size, location, infrastructure, labour, environmental
and climatic challenges.
Shriners Hospital for Children – Canada
The new 20,250-square-metre facility in Montreal features a new motion and gait analysis
laboratory for clinical treatments, a leading clinical research centre, a surgical skills
laboratory and an orthopaedic teaching centre. We were responsible for building this facility
and buying, installing and commissioning all medical equipment.
EMAL Aluminum Smelter – United Arab Emirates
We completed construction of both phases of the world’s largest aluminum smelter on budget
and ahead of schedule.
Surmont Regional Residence – Canada
We support the Surmont Regional Residence in Alberta’s remote Fort McMurray-Wood
Buffalo region, while working in partnership with local First Nations. We operate and
maintain more than 3,500 accommodation rooms and 800,000 square feet of dining,
recreation and housing facilities and are developing a remote-site leading environmental
program at the residence along with our client.
Vargem Grande – Brazil
This project was among the first in Brazil’s mining industry to include engineering entirely
developed using our SmartPlant 3D software.

Oil and gas expertise
Power expertise
In 2014, our acquisition of Kentz and its subsidiary Valerus enhanced our oil and gas
project credentials, capabilities and global footprint. It also strengthened our reputation
for delivering safe, high-quality, agile and responsive solutions. Today, our end-to-end
services range from design and construction, to commissioning, operations and
maintenance in the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors worldwide.
As economies grow, global demand for sustainable power continues to rise at an
accelerated pace. With our roots in power projects, we’re proud to bring a century
of experience and leading-edge technologies to customers worldwide. Our contribution
across the power sector is equal to powering New York City 35 times over. We’ve also
set up enough transmission and distribution lines to circle the globe almost three times.

Key projects
AltaLink – Canada
Over the course of our 12-year ownership of AltaLink, Alberta’s largest transmission facility
owner, we optimized and grew the company to its current size of some 12,000 km of transmission
lines and 280 substations.
Gorgon Project – Australia
Our joint venture is constructing three LNG trains. We also designed and built the
construction village, and our work on the telecommunications package is ongoing.
Darlington Retube and Feeder Replacement – Canada
Once fully refurbished, the nuclear station will continue to produce approximately
20% of Ontario’s energy for an additional 30 years.
Kearl Oil Sands – Canada
Kearl Oil Sands is Canada’s largest oil sands deposit with an estimated 4.6 billion barrels
of recoverable bitumen resource. We provided engineering, procurement and installation
services of the telecommunications systems and installed the electrical and instrumentation
work on-site for the utilities area.
John Hart Generating Station Replacement Project – Canada
This innovative underground 132-MW powerhouse will provide more reliable
and environmentally friendly power to approximately 17% of Vancouver Island.
Pearl Gas-to-Liquids Facilities – Qatar
We completed several major contracts at Pearl GTL over the past five years, from initial
site works to commissioning activities. In 2014, Qatar Shell awarded us an EPCM contract
for brownfield engineering services at its onshore and offshore Pearl GTL facilities.
