C. PENJELASAN TEORI:
 Greeting adalah sebuah ungkapan untuk mengatakan sesuatu ketika kita bertemu
dengan orang lain.
Formal Greeting:
Jika kita bertemu orang yang lebih tua dari kita, maka kita dapat menggunakan
greeting:
- Good morning digunakan antara pukul 00.00 – 11.59 a.m
- Good afternoon digunakan antara pukul 12.00 – 05.59 p.m
- Good evening digunakan antara pukul 06.00 p.m sampai menjelang tidur.
- Good night digunakan apabila akan pergi tidur.
- How do you do? Digunakan untuk menyapa orang yang belum dikenal.
- How are you digunakan untuk menyapa orang yang sudah di kenal.
Informal Greeting:
Jika kita bertemu orang yang sebaya atau lebih muda dari kita, maka kita dapat
menggunakan greeting:

1. Command
Kalimat perintah atau command adalah kalimat yang isinya untuk menyuruh atau
memerintah seseorang untuk melakukan sesuatu. Command biasa juga disebut dengan
kalimat imperative.Command digunakan untuk menyuruh atau memerintah seseorang
untuk melakukan sesuatu .
Menurut penggunaannya bentuk command dibagi 2 yaitu formal dan informal :

2. Prohibition ( Kalimat larangan )
Prohibition atau kalimat larangan adalah kalimat yang isinya melarang seseorang
mengerjakan sesuatu.Kalimat ini digunakan jika kita ingin melarang seseorang
mengerjakan sesuatu.
Menurut penggunaanya klimat larangan bisa dibagi menjadi dua,yaitu formal dan
informal

Pada dasarnya untuk membuat kalimat larangan atau prohibition, kita cukup
menambahkan kata ―Don‘t‖ atau kata ―No‖ didepan kalimat. ―Don‘t‖ dan ―No‖ pada
kalimat tersebut diartikan ―Jangan‖.
Struktur kalimat prohibition sebagai berikut :

C. PENJELASAN TEORI
1. Ungkapan meminta maaf (Apologizing).
Apologizi adalah ungkapan meminta maaf yang kita gunakan Jika kita ingin
meminta maaf kepada orang lain.
2. Ungkapan kesantunan (Politeness).
Politeness adalah ungkapan kesantunan. Jika hendak berbicara dengan orang
yang lebih tua atau yang baru dikenal hendaknya menggunakan bahasa
yang santun.

B. PENJELASAN TEORI
Notice adalah pemberitahuan singkat yang berfungsi untuk menyampaikan pesan
tertentu. Notice biasanya ditampilkan dalam bentuk tulisan dan kadangkala bisa
diikuti gambar. Notice berbentuk perintah yang tertulis secara singkat dan jelas.
Contoh notice
Warning atau caution adalah pemberitahuan singkat yang berupa larangan.
