PRESENTS: 2016 BLUEBERRY FESTIVAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT Sept. 2-5 Location: Due to court construction the tournament will be held at Culver Academy 1300 Academy Rd., Culver, In. 46511 (see the attached map). This is an incredible facility with 20 courts and an elevated viewing platform. No parking issues this year!!! You really do not want to miss playing in this tournament!!!! Event limit-1 singles and 2 doubles events Singles Events: Doubles Events: Men's Open Men's Open Open and Intermediate Singles* $25.00 Men's Intermediate Men's Intermediate (*first round consolation tournament) Men's 55+ Women's Open Junior Boys* (14 & under) Junior Girls* (14 & under) Men's 55+ Women's Open Mixed Open Mixed Intermediate *Juniors 15 and older are welcome to play in the intermediate and open divisions 55+ and Junior Singles $20.00 Doubles $20.00 per team -Open and Intermediate Singles events may begin as early as 6:00 pm on Friday depending on draw size. -Doubles events will begin no earlier than noon on Saturday. -Entry deadline is Wednesday, August 31st at noon. -Individual starting times available Thursday, Sept. 1st at noon by calling Leon at 574 252-6151 -If you choose to play in three events you may be required to play back-to-back matches -USTA card is NOT required for any events -Balls will be provided -Quality awards to main draw winners and finalists and consolation winners -Player gift to all participants -“Superbreaker” 3rd set used in all divisions. Consolation and Junior matches will be 8 game pro-sets until the final. -Please remember to allow an extra time to find the tennis courts at Culver Academy! As we did Last year, we will be offering both Open and Intermediate Mixed Doubles. Both divisions will play the entire tournament on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 5) beginning at 10:00 am. The format will be 8 game pro-sets with two matches guaranteed. This will cut down on “waiting time” and allow us to complete the events by early afternoon. We will offer the same awesome awards as the other events as well as nice awards for the consolation winners in both divisions.
