Was it a “coincidence” or a miracle? I kept

On February 1, 2012, GLC
launched the first TORAHbased Christian Network
to the 10-40 window via
the ABS-1 Direct to Home
Free to Receive Satellite.
But, as you will read, a
great deal of effort and
finances were required on
our part, as well as the GLC Partners, to launch on
the satellite!
Lying in that hospital bed, I began to recall God’s
miracles. I reminded myself how, in 1992, a pair of
10-inch pliers (pictured below) had dropped 300 feet
from a tower onto my head. I had been miraculously
healed by Yeshua on the spot!

We are concentrating on India and China which,
between them, have a population of over 2.6 BILLION!
SOULS THAT DESPERATELY
Was it a NEED THE GOSPEL OF
which they can
“coincidence” YESHUA,
now receive when they tune
or a miracle? into GLC.
I kept calling
on The Name
of Yeshua &
I got my
miracle!!!
Not only do we pray that
the message will give hope
to millions who are without
hope, we’re praying that the
message we take to them
will encourage Believers to
stand strong in their faith of the one true, Living God
of Creation despite the persecution they endure!
At about the same time that the GLC signal became
available to the Far East on the ABS-1, I was being
rolled into the ICU ward of University Hospital in
Lubbock. I had been bleeding internally, and had lost
so much blood that it caused a strain on my heart,
which caused a mild heart attack. The hospital began
giving me blood transfusions and stabilizing my heart.
Meanwhile, the Prayer Warriors of GLC started praying
for me in earnest!

miracles in my life!

Then, in 1997, just before surgery for five heart bypasses, the voice of Yeshua said to me “I am giving you
a new heart.” Fifteen years later, the heart doctors at
University Hospital were amazed at the good condition
of my heart.
I also remembered how in 1998 following a deadly
car wreck, Tommie and I were trapped, bleeding to
death inside a locked car with a demolished battery.
I asked Yeshua to lower the electric car window, so
they could extract us. He did. And I remembered what
Thurman Schrivner had said about repenting if I had
unforgiveness toward anybody. I searched my heart
and repented.
Just before I was rolled to the operating room to find the
source of the internal bleeding, Tommie prayed Ezekiel
16:6 over me. As I went under the anesthesia, I again
asked Yeshua to stop the bleeding. When I came
to, I was told they could see where the bleeding had
come from, but there was no more blood. Yeshua had
answered our prayers and the prayers of our Partners!
I was discharged from the hospital and Tommie and I
were on our way home within 2 hours.
In closing, I plead with you to never give up
on YHWH and His Son Yeshua! My experience
was confirmation that GLC is on track with
YHWH’s plans.

We wonder what would
happen in Christianity, if WE
copied what the Jews did
outside the walls of Jericho
and called on Yeshua!
In Biblical days, the shofar was used in a variety of
ways. It was used to announce the onset of Sabbath
and Feast Days. It was also used at the coronation
of kings, and as a sound to rally for battle. Gideon
used the sound of the Shofar to confound and scare
the Midianites, who far outnumbered Gideon’s three
hundred men (Judges 6 & 7).
However, I believe that the Shofar’s most dramatic
impact was when the 7 Kohanim (Priests) blew their
Shofars at the battle of Jericho in Joshua 6. The Bible
tells us the Israelites circled the city of Jericho once
every day for 6 days with NO OBVIOUS RESULTS, but
then on the 7th day the walls collapsed DOWNWARD
ON THE 7th ENCIRCLEMENT when the 7 shofars blew
a long simultaneous blast and the Israelites all shouted
at once.
In researching Jericho for this UPDATE, I learned that
an excavation of Jericho was allowed in 1999. The
results of the dig correlated with the Biblical account,
proving its accuracy, including the date of 1,400 BC!

The dig proved that the
walls of Jericho did not
just fall over because
they were as wide as they
were high. Had the walls
merely broken apart and
fallen down, the rubble
would have been a barrier
blocking the Israelite’s
entry into the city.
I began to wonder, “WHAT
DID THEY SHOUT?” on
that seventh day at the
command of Joshua?
The
Shofar is
mentioned
72 times in
the Bible in
various contexts and functions.
Scholars point out that “Joshua” in Hebrew is Yoshua
or Yehushua. There is no “J” sound in the Hebrew
language. An interesting footnote to Hebrews 4:8
in the AENT (4th Edition) states: The name Joshua is
derived from the Hebrew “Yehoshua”; the shortened
form first appears in Nehemiah 8:17 as “Yeshua”. It
was common at that time to shout the name of the
commander when engaged in battle, so it’s likely
that the Israelites shouted his name, and even more
probable that they shouted “YESHUA!”
“Yeshua” literally means “YHWH’s Salvation”!
