It’s a new year and we should all strive to keep our community the exceptional subdivision it has always been. Landscaping and clearing some of the low growing trees and under brush along your
road frontage helps show off the beauty of your home. Chesdin Landing host some of the most spectacular homes in the Richmond area.
We need for those of you that have not submitted your proxy’s to please do so no later then Tuesday,
January 6th. We still do not have 100% participation and need quite a few more. We have blank copies in the sales office and we have emailed them out as well.
The new Board of Directors for Lake Chesdin Golf Club is doing a fantastic job in moving us forward
operating independently and keeping all revenues within “Our” club. Members please show your
support by patronizing the restaurant and club. If you are not a member this is a great time to join
and enjoy. We have an outstanding 18 Hole P.G.A. Championship Golf Course and Clubhouse.
The DSL service that has been so sporadic lately is still being worked on to provide our community a
reliable, secure data service. Trying to get quick answers and action have been frustrating with Verizon to say the least. We will update everyone as we can. We encourage you to call and report outages
to 1-800-Verizon. We also continue to work at bringing other options to our community.
Please submit all exterior changes to the sales center for the Architectural Review Board.

Our small CLWA group of dedicated residents, hope everyone enjoyed the holiday decoraons at the clubhouse and
a special visit with Santa. CLWA decided to use a poron of the Community Associaon funds to engage Debbie
McCarter, a professional decorator and special friend of Chesdin, to create the extraordinary whimsical tree in the
recepon area and the coordinang entrance swag. Addional decoraons throughout the clubhouse were found
in the a$c and revived by our own CLWA members. Cindy Rhode created the beauful sparkling gold tree and window wreaths in the dining room. We welcome all residents with a creave flair to join us in providing seasonal decoraons for the clubhouse.
The next CLWA meeng will be January 6th at the clubhouse at 10AM.
All Chesdin Landing Residents are welcome.
The Visit with Santa entertained more than 50 Chesdin children with cra-s, face painng, the Night Before Christmas story, cookies & milk and the most important visit and photo with Santa. The family a-ernoon would

I wanted to share with everyone a wonderful, local pet sitting service who has become invaluable to me.
Cyndi Andrews, owner and sole proprietor of, Dog Walkers of Virginia will come to you home, walk, feed,
care for or whatever the order…. To care for your furry friends when you are away. Cyndi came to my
rescue and took care of our pets when we had to be away from the house for 15hours. It was a relief to
know they were taken care of and we didn’t have to transport them anywhere as they stayed in the comfort of their home.
