We ask all walkers to raise at least $50 in pledges to participate. To be eligible for prizes, please bring your completed pledge forms and money to the walk. Show up at the walk and raise as much money as you can! Visit us at www.bassetrescue.ca so that we can add you to our walk-a-thon update emails. Don’t have your own dog? Is your dog not able to make it? Even if you don’t have a furry friend to bring along we would love to see you out to help us support Ontario Canine Rescue. Walk in memory or in honour of your pet. Raise Pledges Set your own personal goal and beat it. The average walker in 2006 raised $185.00 Check with your employer Ask your employer if they have a gift matching program, or if they are willing to make a corporate donation. This may help double your total in pledges. When: Where: Time: Sunday, June 10, 2007 Woofstock – St. Lawrence Market – Toronto Pre-registration is available on Saturday, June 9th from 10 am – 3 pm Registration on the event day from 10 am to 11 am. Walk begins at 11 am Details: Walk course of 3km’s, Senior Dog & Puppy walk course of 1.5 km’s available. Walk Safety: All pets must be leashed and under control at all times. Visit our website: www.BassetRescue.ca Directions To St. Lawrence Market Front Street, a four-lane boulevard, will be closed for the party – from Jarvis past the famous Flatiron Building almost to Yonge St. We will also be taking over Market St. on the west side of the market and Market Lane, the large courtyard which stretches to King St. bounded the The St. Lawrence North Market. By TTC Take the subway to either Union Station or King Street Station. From Union Station, turn right from the front entrance and walk east along Front Street for 3 blocks. From King Street subway station, the King streetcar runs along (surprise!) King Street and stops at the corner of Jarvis Street, in front of the St. Lawrence Hall. By Car From the Gardiner Expressway, take the Jarvis or York/Yonge/Bay exit and proceed north to Front Street. There are more than 3,000 parking spots within a 4-minute walk from the Market.
