Recipe of
the Month!
Ingredients:
12 pieces string cheese
12 egg roll wrappers
Oil for deep fat frying
Marinara, spaghetti or
ranch sauce for dipping
Mozzarella Sticks
Directions:
1.
Place a piece of string cheese near the bottom
corner of one egg roll wrapper (keep remaining
wrappers covered with a damp paper towel until
ready to use).
2.
Fold bottom corner over cheese, roll up halfway
and then fold sides toward center of cheese.
3.
Moisten remaining corner with water and roll up
tightly to seal.
4.
Repeat with remaining wrappers and cheese.
5.
In an electric skillet, heat ½ inch of oil to 375
degrees.
6.
Fry sticks, a few at a time, for 30-60 seconds on
each side or until golden brown.
7.
Drain on paper towels.
8.
Serve with a sauce of your choosing.
