The specified “Top” & “Outerwear” hanger will now be the NEW VICS 484 Top with ridges & VICS 3329 Outerwear approved hanger. The Charming Shoppes preferred Supplier of the New VICS 484 & 3329 is Uniplast. The use of this vendor will ensure that you are receiving the contracted pricing (ref. product sheets in subsequent pages). When placing your hanger order, please remember to refer to the Charming Shoppes Account # CSI 0809 as indicated on the Hanger Order form (last page of this hanger). Reference to our account number, will ensure that you receive the most up‐to‐date pricing. The hanger pricing reflected in the guide is subject to change. Price changes will be updated on a quarterly basis. Placing orders with the attached order form is preferred. Information on the required Uniplast bottom hanger is also shown on the following page. Authorization to use non‐standard hangers must be approved by Vendor Communications prior to shipping of the merchandise. All vendors will be responsible for the purchasing, stocking, and payment of the Fashion Bug approved standard hangers. Failure to use Fashion Bug standard hanger will result in refusal or a chargeback. Plus size bottoms must be folded and hung so the price ticket is visible in front. The use of straight pins, metal or plastic clips to secure garments is prohibited and non‐
compliance will result in a chargeback. See the Vendor Instruction section of your Purchase Order for hanger instructions. When intimate apparel hangers are packed in a polybag, the entire hanger must be packed inside the bag. Protruding hooks are prohibited. The number of garments in a multi-garment bundle must be such that the
overall width and length of the bundle are at least twice the bundle height.
The bundle width/length/height ratio requirement is graphically represented as

Bundle Overwrap Requirements - Do List
•
Bundle must be tightly secured using clear master polybag and with plastic tape
wide enough to hold bag closed and not allowing shifting of merchandise within the
bundle.
•
Any reference to Polybag means POLYETHYLENE only.
•
Bundle overwrap must firmly conform (like stretch wrap) to the contents of the
bundle.
•
All garments in multi-garment bundles must be stable with a flat bottom and firmly
wrapped.
•
Bundles that are 16" or smaller and do not have a flat bottom must be firmly bound
to an underlayment material (i.e. cardboard) in order to add stability to the bundle.
•
Fragile bottles and/or containers must be on firm underlayment and bubble
wrapped.
•
Eyeglasses must be pack in boxes (2 or 3 pc.bundles must be pack with a flat
bottom using cardboard and bubble wrapped).

Fashion Bug vendors must order direct from our ticket provider effective February 3rd
2008.
Our new ticket provider is Checkpoint Systems, Inc.
Vendors will be required to establish an account with Checkpoint Systems by entering
the Check-net web site and completing the application form. A username and password
will be provided upon approval. It will take approximately 3 to 5 business days for
Checkpoint Systems to process your credit application and provide a username and
password.

All information regarding the ordering procedure can be found on the Checkpoint
website including a document containing frequently asked questions and answers.
The charges for price tickets will remain unchanged, however, rather than receiving a
chargeback for tickets from Charming Shoppes, Checkpoint will be invoicing you directly
for all tickets that are required. Tickets will be produced both in the US and in many
international countries in proximity to factory locations.
Tickets will be available on the Checkpoint website according to our normal delivery
timelines. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ORDER TICKETS IN A TIMELY
MANNER TO ENSURE THAT SHIP DATES ARE MAINTAINED. NO EXTENSIONS
WILL BE GRANTED. Re-orders will be the vendor’s responsibility. The ship method,
ship location, and quantity can be adjusted for each order.
Average lead time for Checkpoint-supplied price tickets is one to three days (does not
include shipping). Some orders may be produced the same day that they are ordered.
Price tickets will be shrink wrapped to the size & color level. Each style will be placed in
one bag and then in a carton for shipment. Please ensure your account is maintained in
good standing.

located underneath the Price Ticket and is attached w/ it to the outer or top
piece of the set (ie: the jacket or shrug). They are attached together
w/plastic barb thru the main label. The other pieces of the set will also get a
“Set” hangtag which is attached w/ a plastic barb thru the logo label.

Extra Button Bag (clear Poly): When designated on the Purchase Order,
attach the extra button bag underneath the price ticket on the same plastic
barb.

Specialty Hangtags (ie: Remove Jewelry Before Trying On, Garment
Washed, Natural Weaving, etc.): should be attached at wearer’s left side
seam under the arm. For bottoms – attach under price ticket

Reversible Items with Pockets:
o Care Label (w/Country of Origin and Fiber Content) is sewn inside
the pocket.
o The main logo label w/ a Country of Origin/Size Label (BC) attached
are sewn at the neck w/loose stitching so it can be removed by the

Logo Label
A logo label must be attached inside the wearer’s left side seam through the seam
allowance under the armhole.
Legal I.D. Label
Care label information must be attached beside or beneath the logo label.
Two-piece items must have care information in the top piece only, provided that the fiber
composition is the same for both pieces and the care instructions are appropriate for both
pieces. (Attach at the center back neck/edge for tops and center back waist for bottoms).
Hangtag/Special Disclaimer
When applicable, swift tack hangtags through garment seam at the top of side seam.
Because of the delicate nature of most swimwear fabric, barbs may be attached on the
inside seam allowance at the armhole, if tags are clearly visible.
Two piece sets should have a hangtag stating two piece set.
Price Ticket
Attach all price tickets with a 3” plastic barb along with any hangtag information. If there is
no hangtag, place the price ticket at the top of the wearer’s left side seam.

Shoe Display Labels & Tickets
1) In the Price Ticket Package, you will receive both the display labels and price tickets. Below the price tickets,
there should be a few rows of blank labels. Following the blank labels, the shoe display labels are found.
2) The information on the shoe label will be as follows:

C) Available sizes - (ie: 6 MED - 10 MED & 7W-10W) (where applicable)
D) Price of the Item
3) The shoe labels will be generated for, and should be applied to, size 7 ½
4) Please purchase a hot glue gun and hot glue refills to be used in appling the display labels to the bottom of
the shoes.

Ticket is to be attached to RIGHT shoe using a plastic barb or elastic string.
Preferred method is plastic barb. Do not attach price ticket to hanger.
The Plastic Barb (holding the Price ticket) can be looped through shoe strap or
buckle (location should not allow removal without cutting plastic barb). If a
buckle or closed strap is unavailable then a loop must be sewn inside the right
shoe upper and plastic barb should be attached through this loop.
Display labels are not required for J-hook program.

MODE 4 Egg Crate Cartons: In addition to the standard carton marking requirement (shown
below), all cartons should be marked with the words “this end up” to indicate the upward
position of the carton contents.
It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure each and every carton shipped is clearly identified with
the proper information by carton label or carton markings. The information must be placed on
the short end of the carton. All information must be in block type and no smaller than ¼”
in type. Stencil and handwritten labels are not acceptable. The markings must be as follows:

Mufflers Once the muffler is folded on the hanger, the hang tag should be on the left side of
the muffler. Please place the hang tag closest to the seam. The price ticket will go on the back

Gloves The gloves must be on a fold over card. The ticket will be placed on the back of the
fold over card. The gloves do not need a hang tag. All carded gloves hang on pegs with the
thumbs to the left.
Hats The hats should be secured to a cardboard cut-out. Use a J-hook on the top, center
