There are now more ways to donate to the Regimental Association charity. You can now donate
to the Association online and from the comfort of your armchair.
One off debit or credit card donations
Online donations can be sent the via our online
donation receiver Virgin Money Giving
First got to http://www.virginmoneygiving.com from
here click on make a donation,
At the ‘Make a donation’ page you can
‘Sponsor your friend’ or ‘Donate to charity’.
To the right ‘Donate to charity’ there is a
search engine for the charity. Just type
Devon and Dorset and click the Blue
forward arrow >>
The search results will show our charity at the
top identified by the name and capbadge. Now
click on the ‘Make a donation’ button

Payment methods can be Visa Credit, Visa
Debit, Mastercard, Maestro or American
Express.
You can also use a PayPal account but only for
single donations. You can leave a message
also. Once complete click next.
You can select if you would like to leave a
message.
If you are already a registered user of Virgin
Money Giving you can sign in here or you
can continue without registering. There is no
need to register when making a one off
single donation. If you are setting up regular
payments you will be directed to register.
Once registered you can then organise fund
raising events on our behalf.
Next you will be presented with a standard on
line payment screen. Complete the details as
normal and click next.

The Devon and Dorset Regimental Association Charity
Once payment is complete, you will
be given the opportunity to claim Gift
Aid.
Gift Aid can only be claimed on
personal donations from UK tax
payers.
The Government operates a scheme
called Gift Aid that allows charities to
claim the basic rate tax on every pound
donated. So if you donated £100 to our
charity, it means that you’ll actually be
giving us at least £125.
Giving under Gift Aid means that so
much more money can be raised at no
extra cost to our donors.
