Motion was made by Shirley, seconded by Julie, that the Club spend approximately $400 on tools and a bag for this award. All members present voted in favor of the motion. Dick reported that he has been in contact with Randy Poissant, teacher at the Malone school. He thinks the award presentation could be done on Friday, June 10th picnic. NACS Prom Cruise: Star & Roland’s granddaughter has about 9 couples that would like us to drive them to their prom. We would need 9 cars for the cruise. The date is Friday, May 13th. We do not have a time yet. The prom will be held at the West Side Ballroom on the old Plattsburgh Air Base. We could gather at the Altona Fire Department parking lot. We will have times and pick up locations ready for the May meeting. (**Secretary’s Note: We have since been told that the Prom starts at 7 pm. Hopefully that means our start time will be late enough for many of our people that have to work that day will still be able to join us!) Honor Flight Parades: Pauline has asked if we could help them out at the Cadyville parade on June 12th and the Plattsburgh 4th of July parade. We have told her that we will not have drivers available for the Memorial Day weekend. Pauline has given us permission to have car magnets made as escort vehicles if we wish to do so. She sent a sample patch that the motorcycle riders wear. Meeting Highlights continued on next page ... Meeting Highlights continued... National Mustang Day: Sunday, April 17th.
