January 2013
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
May you have a healthy, happy and
prosperous 2013!
A few brief reminders for 2013…..
Our winter season is now in full swing and
traffic has become very heavy. We would
like to remind everyone that our speed limit
throughout the community is 15 mph. Please
remember children under the age of sixteen
(16) are not permitted to drive golf carts
without the accompaniment of an adult.
Please be advised that two (2) vehicles are
allowed to be parked on your site. This does
not include your golf cart. In the RV Section
you are permitted to store one boat, canoe,
or Jet Ski up to 20ft. behind your unit. If you
have a driveway, all vehicles must be parked
on the driveway NOT in the grass.
For our R.V. residents please be advised
that your Cost of Living Increase (CPI) is
2.7%. Your site rental for the November
1, 2013 to April 30, 2014 will increase by
$78.00 for the season. Your site rental for
the 2013/2014 season will be $2,965.00. In
order to reserve your particular requested
site, a deposit of $1,000 is due at reservation time. Please note the remainder of the
balance of $1,965.00 is due on or before
October 1, 2013. Your Street Reservation
notice and rental agreements will be placed
in your mailbox the beginning of February.
If you have any questions or concerns please
call or stop in at the administration office.
BEST WISHES TO ALL FOR 2013!!!

Important Information
Compound Corner
In the Mobile/Resort section;
Office hours and work day times are
Tuesday’s between 3pm and 5pm. The new
office hours seem to be working out to
everyone. Our work days have been filled
every Tuesday, so don’t forget to sign up for
yours at least a week in advance of working.
The new gate controller has had a little
trouble, so if it doesn’t work the first time
wait a couple of minutes and try it again.
Please report any trouble with it to Larry T
(293-4467) or Jerry Z. or Bill Farmer.
Just a friendly reminder regarding the I.D. cards.
As most of you know we have been working hard
to make sure that the amenities are kept
exclusively for our residents and guest. In doing
so we have gone forward with a lovely picture
I.D. card. As of today’s date there has been over
two thousand cards issued and we are looking
forward to finishing up with those that have not
yet gotten theirs. The cards will be needed to
participate in any and all sporting events,
enjoying the pool area and to purchase tickets
for any Citrus Park sponsored event. There is no
fee for the cards unless you have lost yours and
then there is a $5.00 replacement fee. Also, a
reminder that if you sell your unit you MUST
return your picture I.D. before the new owner
can get theirs. Please be courteous to your
buyers and return your cards to the office or to
whoever is handling your sale. The picture I.D.
will be taken between the hours of 2:00 p.m and
4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding
holidays and vacation time.
Security Department
Please, remember to let the Guard Staff know if
you are in need of short/long term visits from
Medical Staff. We keep your names on our list for
gate information only for the length of need. We
can assist you as well as your Medical request at
our gate. Our Guards, know most of the Medical
Staff entering Citrus Park. Thank you, for
observing the STOP SIGNS and our 15 mph speed
limits. Thank you, have a good Season
If you are planning on renting your unit in the
Mobile or Resort section please adhere to the
rule of a minimum three consecutive months
as well as spending equal consecutive time in
your unit. If you have any question regarding
this issue please contact Chris at the office. An
example is: You are renting January February
and March. You MUST spend three consecutive
months in your unit before you can rent the
following year. As an owner, if you are renting,
you must check in to the office at the time of
your arrival and check out when you are leaving
so that we know that you did spend the required
time in your unit. I hope this helps to eliminate
some of the confusion regarding the rental of
your unit.
From the Activities Office
Please respect the time slot you were given for
the use of the buildings. It is very distracting for
other groups if you walk through or set up early.
Too many complaints have been brought up
about this. If you need more time to set up before
your activity begins, please stop by the Activities
Office to discuss a more suitable time.
Just a quick reminder that submission for the
Newsletter has to be submitted via email to
[email protected] by the 10th for the
following month. The space availability is
limited and therefor a first come, first served
basis.

MHOA/ Hamlin
The Mobile Home Owners Association
(MHOA) welcomes you back to Citrus Park
where the involvement of residents in the
programs offered and opportunities enjoyed in
our retirement park are critical to its welfare
and the quality of life we enjoy here.
The Board of Directors meets each Friday prior
to the second Tuesday each month at the home
of President Fay Sterling. We are often joined
by members of the administration of the park
with whom we discuss issues important to the
community. The board welcomes residents of
MHOA to share concerns and needs within
Citrus Park for they involve all residents and,
often, we are able, as an organization, to voice
and help resolve issues.
The board realizes that many people are
involved in our softball program and have
games on Tuesday afternoons at 3:30; thus,
we will adjust our monthly meeting time,
beginning in February 2013, to the second
Friday of each month, at 1:30 p.m., at the
clubhouse. Hopefully, this change will
encourage our softball players to take an active
role in the monthly meetings to which residents
of all sections of the park are always welcome.
The MHOA looks forward to the December
15th “You Light Up My Life” golf cart parade
through the mobile home sections followed by
caroling and cookies at the clubhouse. Last year
the park was aglow with creative designs which
residents proudly displayed and were enjoyed
by all.
The board welcomes suggestions for programs
and the involvement of all residents in the
seasonal needs of Citrus Park. Give a warm
welcome to your new neighbors as well as
your old friends.
The Hamlin board wants to thank everyone who
participated in our “ Christmas Lights Contest.”
Christmas lights are beautiful and they bring joy into
our lives by lifting up our spirits. So we all won in
this contest! Hamlin Association Happenings:
-A $100.00 Publix gift card was given to our local
fireman in appreciation for all they do for Citrus
Park.
-A $100.00 was given to the Bonita Food Assistance
program in honor of Mr. Trost on his first
anniversary.
-We welcomed two new members: Al Davis and
Esther Alcorn who will assist Bob Zinger on 7th and
8th street south. Thank you to Jim Mark who will be
stepping down as the street director for all his
service. Welcome also to Denny Marsh who has
agreed to take the street director’s position on 1314th street south. He will be joining our board in
January.
-The emergency crews serving our park have asked
us to be sure to have our units labeled with the street
and unit numbers. You may order reflective signs
through the Hamlin Association by calling Frank
Elmquist, phone number: 949-2826. Cost $20.00
-The season is starting. Please follow safety rules: go
the right direction on one way streets, do not let
children drive your golf cart without supervision,
maintain the correct speed limit and use a flashlight
when walking at night for visibility. The Hamlin
Association annual meeting is going to be on January
18th at 2 p.m. This is our opportunity to ask
questions of Tamara and the administration. If you
have concerns that you would like addressed during
the meeting, take it up with your street director who
will bring it to our attention. Membership is required
to attend the meeting and membership cards will not
be sold at the door. The cards are now available and
may be purchased from your street director.
Happy New Year. May this be your best season yet.
