Upgrade to Lytec® 2014 today to keep your claims process operating smoothly
Effective April 1, 2014, payers will only accept claims submissions on the new CMS-1500 02-12 form. If you submit paper claims and haven’t
yet upgraded to Lytec 2014, now is the time. The latest version of Lytec is the only one compatible with this new form.
There are several changes to the CMS-1500 02-12 form, but most important are the revisions to the Diagnosis fields (Boxes 21 and 24E).
These fields now support the alphanumeric code sets that are used with ICD-10, which goes into effect on October 1, 2014.
