Design your own garment the way the pros do!
You will learn how to create a new style by draping on
a dress form. Then you'll draft a pattern, make a test
garment from muslin, and try on
your new creation!

Knock it Off
Bring in your favorite ready to wear garment, and
we’ll show you how to make a pattern from it without

be your own Project Runway!
You’ll start by making a dress
form that’s a copy of you!
From there, we’ll cover fitting,
draping, sewing knits, sewing
zippers, seam finishes (for that
nice clean look inside and out!), decorative techniques
like ruching, ruffles, and flounces, and so much more!

Whole Cloth Quilting
Explore the universe of whole cloth quilting,

Draft Your Own Jeans
There is almost nothing harder to find than a pair of jeans that fit!
That’s because we are all our own unique shape and size. If you
think about it, it’s kind of crazy that we would think such a thing
was possible.
Now you CAN have jeans that fit,
because you’re going to design a pattern
that is based on your exact
measurements!
For this class, we recommend that you
have some experience sewing by
machine, and working with commercial
patterns. Call us if you’re not sure…

Silk Roses & Silk Beads
Make your world more beautiful with silk roses and beads. Join
us for a serene evening working with beautiful silk dupioni to
make these lovely artful items.
No sewing experience necessary.

Dancewear, Swimwear,
Underwear!
Learn all the construction techniques for these three closely
related garments. You'll work with two- and four-way
stretch fabrics, practice inserting elastic
in necklines and leg holes, and demystify
bra construction. We'll explore the fabrics and notions specific to these garments,
and work with you to start fitting your new bra pattern.
