But in our hearts
You are always there
Yoga Instructor Joins CSF Team
Children’s Aid Society
Ken Savage joined the CSF yoga team in October 2014. After practicing yoga for three years, Ken says “Learning and teaching yoga has
been a very positive influence on me. It helps me to focus on the
important things in life, be calm, and center my thoughts. Ken is
currently completing his 200 hour yoga certification with Sangha
Center for Yoga and Wellness. He plans to continue to teach a diverse
yoga so everyone feels comfortable in his classes. Ken enjoys attending yoga workshops to learn as much as he can.
Gifts For
Kids
The Children's Aid Society’s
Gifts for Kids project was a huge
success again this year! Thanks
to everyone for your love and
generosity. The gifts you have
provided for the kids will be very
much appreciated, and your
kindness will leave a positive
impression with the children.
The people who Ken admires in his life are his mother, and yogis
Andrea Kirkham and B.K.S. Iyengar.
When we asked Ken what he likes about Cool Springs Fitness, he
replied, “The people are nice, input from members is important, the
salt water pools, and the support he receives from the staff.”
Ken’s classes include Mixed Level Yoga on Monday 10:30 AM, and Intermediate Yoga at
5:30 PM, Wednesday 10:30 AM Gentle Yoga, and 5:30 PM Intermediate Yoga. Be sure to
also check out Sally Armstrong’s Yoga Motion on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM and Ellen Glenn’s
Morning Yoga on Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 AM.

CSF Group Exercise News for 2015
Barre Burn is an effective
toning and fat burning
workout that integrates the ballet
barre, light weights and other props to
develop long, lean muscle. In addition
you will build core strength and target
muscles like never before. Class format includes a brief warm up followed
by 40 minutes of total body workout
that will raise the heart rate and tone
your muscles. Then you will finish
with a much needed stretching session. This class is challenging yet appropriate for most any fitness level.
This fun mix of hi-lo, step, cardio
kickboxing, drumming, and dance is
the perfect alternative to your usual
workout routine. With emphasis on
cardio exercise which connects the
brain and body, the class will fly by
in a heart beat while keeping your
heart pounding strong.
