ON THE BRINK OF A MIRACLE
Every summer I declare the season a SUMMER OF
MIRACLES – and this year we have already
experienced miracles in Repulse Bay, Nunavut. As
we launch into the summer, we are on the brink of
another BIG miracle!
Two years ago we began believing and making plans
for a new ministry centre in this strategic Inuit
community situated on the Arctic Circle. This spring
we sent Michael & Darlene Clark from Ottawa to
oversee the ministry and building project. The Lord
miraculously brought generous partners and ministries
to stand with us. As a result all the funds for the
building’s shell and infrastructure have been provided,
and the Clark’s salary has been covered for a year.
This supernatural provision is a confirmation of God’s
promise in Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this
very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you
will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
With the snow melting and the weather stabilizing,
work on the building has already begun.
We
anticipate that the structure will be erected and closed
in by the fall. While this phase is underway we are
declaring a miracle of provision for the finances to
purchase the drywall, electrical, heating and plumbing
supplies and the furnishings. These supplies must be
bought and shipped before September 1st when the
barge that goes to Repulse Bay will begin its journey
from Montreal.
This final phase will cost about
$100,000.00. This amount is enormous for a ministry
our size, but when I look back at the way God has
miraculously provided for us to get this far, my spirit is
stirred as I stand on the promise of Philippians 1:6.
He is going to
complete what He has begun! We are on the brink of
another breakthrough; we are going to see the
greatest SUMMER OF MIRACLES ever!
Over the past months you, our precious partners,
have helped us raise approximately one third of the
funds we will need to purchase these final supplies.
Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to put a
miracle in motion!
Here’s more exciting news! Just days ago I received
a phone call from the Missions Director of Crossroads
Christian Communications, informing me that this
wonderful organization is prepared to match every
dollar that is given to the Repulse Bay project this
summer, up to $30,000.00! That means your
sacrificial gift will become a double blessing! A total of
$30,000.00 in individual partner gifts will become
$60,000.00! I am asking the Lord to lay the people of
the north on your heart and prompt you to give
generously.
Why is this project so important? In addition to
providing a place of worship for the local
congregation, it will become our Healing/Training
Centre for the entire eastern Arctic. We will bring
potential young Inuit leaders from communities in the
north to receive personal spiritual, physical and
emotional healing, and to be equipped and sent out to
bring hope and healing to the youth of their own
communities. I believe the curse of suicide can be
broken as these anointed Arctic leaders arise and
demonstrate the transforming power of Christ.

Highly respected specialized ministries from across
Canada have already committed to join us in
equipping those who come for healing and training.
We believe each student will receive freedom from the
emotional pain of past trauma, learn how to share
their faith with others, and will be equipped to go forth
in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Praise Reports from Repulse Bay
From Michael & Darlene Clark
April:
“Today was another great day at the Church as we taught the
people about the Resurrection power of the risen Christ alive
inside each of them. The reaction to this revelation in both
services was seen in the facial expressions and the joy that came
into the building was amazing. We are starting to see results
from a month of teaching, relationship building, and trust
building. We have been working hard to learn Inuktitut and will
continue to do so, practicing each day with our friends. We are
feeling so at home here and can't imagine being anywhere else.
God is moving here and we continue to believe for greater
growth...”
As we declare this season a SUMMER OF
MIRACLES, I am expecting supernatural supply for
the Repulse Bay project, and I am believing God for
His miraculous power to be poured out in your life too!
May:
“Last weekend was the fishing derby. A family and their young
daughter were out fishing. The daughter wasn't having much
luck so she asked her Mom if they could ask God to help them
catch a fish. They prayed and about 10 minutes later the daughter
caught the $1500.00 prize winning fish. PTL!!! She is about 10
yrs old and has been attending the King's Kids Wednesday night
program with Darlene.”
Let’s partner in faith and in our finances to see the
greatest SUMMER OF MIRACLES ever!
God bless you,
June:
“Another notable healing took place in our home today. A 12 yr
old girl who frequently comes to our home told us she hurt her
leg during the fishing derby and thought she might have to go to
the clinic. Darlene prayed for her and the swelling had gone
down and the girl said she felt like she could run again. Praise
The Lord for His healing power...

P.S. Don’t forget – Crossroads Communications will
MATCH every dollar you give to the Repulse Bay
project before August 31st, up to a maximum of
$30,000. Let’s DOUBLE THE BLESSING and see a
miracle realized in the Arctic!
There have been numerous healings including an elderly lady
who had knee problems and after Darlene prayed, she said she
could run. Every time I see her I ask her if she can run (we
actually use sign language because she only speaks Inuktitut but
she knows what I am asking) and she runs up and down the aisle
of the church.
Last night we had a Bible Study. We have been looking at the
book of Galatians and the fight between being under the law and
under grace. Three ladies were set free tonight. They began
with some crying and then joy took over and they were still
laughing outside our house. We saw one of them at the hockey
game last night and she was still full of the joy of The Lord.”
