Heisey Collectors of Texas Study Club
The Heisey Collectors of Texas November 2016 meeting was held at
the home of Mike and Cindy Morgan in Prosper, TX. Thirteen
members were present. The business meeting was primarily planning
for the Percy and Vivian Moore Dinner that the Club will be hosting
September 30th- October 2nd 2016. The host hotel will be the Hampton
Inn in Grapevine Texas. Friday’s dinner will be at Texas Love & War
and Saturday’s dinner and meeting will be at Ferrari’s. Both venues are
located in Grapevine Texas. The club is also planning a tour of the
Vetro Glass Blowing Studio in downtown Grapevine. We are planning
on a silent auction on Friday evening and the traditional live auction at
Saturday’s dinner. Club members are encouraged to donate glass or
money to assist with the auctions. We would like to have
approximately fifteen pieces for the Saturday live auction and twenty
pieces for the Friday silent auction. Here is a list of the items donated
to date:

Please consider making a donation. The Moore Dinner is an annual
tribute to Percy and Vivian Moore and also an important fundraiser for
HCA. Having glass to bid on at the silent auction and live auction is
critical to this event. If you cannot donate glass, we would appreciate a
cash donation.
If you have any items you wish to donate, please contact Mike Morgan
or Greg Freeman. We will be happy to arrange pickup. We also have
the HCA donation forms for Tax Deductions. Photos of the donated
items will be posted on the club website on the PVM Weekend Page.
