A few more things
You can see more about
the Ames trip online on
the UUPCC’s secure travel
page at www.uupcc.org/
trips.html. The first time,
you’ll have to create a login.
Choose “travel,’” then “enter
the trip ID of a private trip.”
Our IDs are 1353865 for the
base trip and 1364388 for
the extension. Registration
fees are payable by credit
card. Balances are payable
by check.
Those from Ames who
will start in Koloszvar/Cluj
are likely to coordinate
group travel to Koloszvar/
Cluj from Budapest. Some
travelers may also coordinate
international air travel.
Tordátfalva narrowly escaped planned demolition
during the communist era. After years of crushing
oppression, villagers now work to reclaim and sustain
their land, history, language, culture, and religion.
