Auction Program - Moritz College of Law
WELCOME
On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Executive Officers, and the dedicated members of the Ohio
Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF), we would like to welcome you to the 2015 PILF Live and Silent
Auction. Tonight’s event is sponsored by The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
A great number of people have contributed to making this event a success.
PILF is a student-run, nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting public service throughout the
Moritz community. We strive to connect students who have hopes of working in public interest with
opportunities to advance their goals. Through programs such as our PILF Summer Fellowships, we
bring students together with the innovative and dedicated legal professionals who practice public interest
work in the community. All proceeds from tonight’s event will help fund our PILF Summer Fellowships.
PILF would not be where it is today without the efforts of our excellent faculty board members
Professor Arthur Greenbaum and Dean Garry Jenkins, and board members Christine Donovan and
Michelle Eiler. In addition, this Auction would not be complete without our faculty auctioneers,
Professors Mary Beth Beazley and Sarah Rudolph Cole. Finally, we extend our sincere gratitude to the
College for its support of PILF and to Dean Alan Michaels for his personal efforts in ensuring our
continued success.
Moritz faculty, staff, and students, as well as countless members of the community, have generously
contributed all the items up for auction tonight. Thank you for your generous donations and thank you
for your continued support of PILF.
Everything you see here tonight is the work of volunteers. Volunteers are the lifeblood of PILF.
Students, faculty, and staff all dedicate their time and talents to make events such as this Auction
possible. To everyone who has volunteered, we cannot thank you enough. Thank you for taking the time
to attend our event. We truly hope that you enjoy yourself this evening, and we thank you for your kind
support of PILF.
Happy bidding!
