About this guide:
How to use this guide:
This guide is for people who are looking for FREE interactive tools
that match the stage they are designing for in the Five Stage
Model. This is a collation of free tools that either I have used &
recommend personally, or ones the #edtech gurus I know swear
by. For some categories (eg polls) there are so many equal
options I have instead linked to comprehensive list s by great
edtech people like Christopher Pappas of eLearning Industry. This
guide will therefore continue to be refreshed for broken links etc.
Many of these tools can of course be used across the stages, but
just watch for the Learning Curve (Colour key on the left) in the
tools and match them appropriately. My personal approach to
tech with participants, is for the facilitator to ‘go to town’ on
using interactive tools to distribute content, presence and enable
engagement. But I do not believe in forcing students to have to
create/use a tool for demonstrating their learning, unless they so
choose to.
