WEBINAR: NATURAL GAS DEVELOPMENT FROM THE GROUND UP (AND DOWN): MINERAL LAW 101 HOW TO READ A GAS LEASE
THURSDAY, APRIL 24, 2014; 1:00 PM-2:30 PM EASTERN TIME
As continued population growth, increasing urban density and varying climate place heavy burdens on our
nation’s water supplies; water agencies, industry and policy makers are examining innovative ways to
stretch water supplies and to provide reliability and redundancy in their supply portfolio. As such, many
water agencies in the United States and around the world have been increasing the reuse of municipal
wastewater to help meet growth demands. Water recycling is not new, and has been used for many years
for irrigation as an offset to drinking water supplies. In more recent years, advances in technology have
enabled higher levels of water quality to be produced from wastewater that are reliable and economical.
This has paved the way for increased opportunities for water recycling both in industry and
for municipalities, including potable reuse. This presentation will cover water recycling in the United States
and around the world, and provide an update on the state of the technology including specific case studies.
