hit the city in years!
All About Apparel
Jachs’ first brick-and-mortar shop features men’s and women’s
clothing at 310 Bleecker Street. m.a.e., the luxury consignment
store, relocated one block down Seventh Avenue in Park Slope
to 461, formerly 718 Cyclery.
JCPenney’s new design center at 200 Lafayette Street will focus on
its in-house labels. J. Crew is planning to open a location at 151
Court Street in Brooklyn’s Cobble Hill.
The French invasion of New York continues, with Paule Ka
to arrive on Madison Avenue between 63rd and 64th Streets
in November. Can’t wait that long? Head to 42B Jobs Lane
in Southampton.
Kirna Zabete is back, at 477 Broome Street. PacSun pops up
for the summer at 583 Broadway. Anya Ponorovskaya’s third
– and first bridal – store will prepare for your big day at 251
Elizabeth Street.
Skingraft’s leather goods, beloved by celebrities, comes from Los
Angeles to 7 Prince Street. Intermix has debuted downtown, at
322 Bowery.

There’s still time to visit Odin’s summer-themed pop-up shop at
330 East 11th Street, open until August 31st.
The Great Outdoors
Peter Buchanan-Smith has opened Best Made Co., his first permanent shop for his camping gear, apparel and accessories at 36
White Street.
Renovation Report
Barneys unveiled its new lighter, brighter men’s accessories floor.
Next up for a re-do: Saint Laurent’s flagship on 57th Street.
Amazing Accessories
Chanel has debuted its expanded in-store boutique at Bergdorf
Goodman, part of a major renovation of the fashion icon. Eye-

wear designer Linda Farrow will be featured as the next pop-up
shop at the innovative shipping container at Pier 57 on the West
Side. An accessories shop has been added to Diane von Furstenberg’s store and studio at 440 West 14th Street.
Fabulous Footwear
Saks Fifth Avenue has opened a Christian Louboutin boutique
(offering accessories as well as his shoes) within its greatly expanded shoe department, Louboutin’s first in-store shop in the
United States.
Home Goods
Stationery designer Knot & Bow has founded a small store featuring gifts as well as its own wares, inside its studio at 253 Third
Avenue in Brooklyn’s up-and-coming Gowanus area. The store
will expand in the fall. Yves Delorme has launched a shop inside
Bloomingdale’s, 1000 Third Avenue.
Looking for something just a bit fun for your home or as a nostalgic gift? Look no further than Jellio Design Lab, a shop-in-shop
inside SFDS at 239 Java Street in Greenpoint for benches shaped
like ice cream sandwiches, yoyo tables and more.
To Your Health (And Beauty)
Flywheel will open locations in Tribeca and Lincoln Center, giving
it five studios in New York. Look for Organic Avenue shops inside
Theory’s pop-ups in East Hampton and Southampton. Enjoy the
rest of the summer with surfboards, skates, and beachwear from
Panda Diplomacy’s first store, at 206 East 6th Street.
Canada’s natural beauty Bite’s first standalone store is at 174
Prince Street. Once an assistant, then lead hairstylist at Frederic
Fekkai, among other top salons, Vu Nguyen has opened Vu Hair
New York at the Peninsula Hotel, 700 Fifth Avenue.
