Yonkers Riverfest – September 12, 2015
The Yonkers Downtown BID and the City of Yonkers are once again coming together to
host the city’s largest outdoor festival! The 23rd Annual Yonkers Riverfest is a family
friendly, all-day music and arts event that is expected to attract over 25,000 people and is
one of the top events in Westchester County.
In 2015, we will expand upon last year’s amazing success. Grammy winners, Rock & Roll
Hall of Famers, and other music legends are sure to be part of Riverfest once again. We are
the largest event in Westchester County’s largest city. Yonkers Riverfest promises to have
something for everyone – family music and entertainment, arts and crafts, children’s
activities, environmental exhibits, international cuisine, and continuous, free live
entertainment on 5 separate stages for all to enjoy.
Transforming Communities
The Riverfest, located in historic Downtown Yonkers truly represents the diversity of the city,
with its multitude of ethnicities and residents of all ages. Downtown Yonkers is a proud
community, but as a low-income area, local residents often do not have access to high
quality enrichment and family activities. The Riverfest provides a unique opportunity to
benefit the local community through increased access to green space, art, music, and family
entertainment. We have everything from music legends to wonderful neighborhood choirs
and healthy living activities. Riverfest represents the best of Yonkers and our sponsors.
Riverfest is only possible due to the support of our sponsors. Sponsorships are an excellent
way to showcase your business to tens of thousands of people and an opportunity to give
back to your community. In 2015, sponsors will receive more publicity than ever before.
