played at all 5 of Music on the Bay events.

Meeting on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016:
Candidates will be announced/introduced at the
August 3th Meeting at Whiskey Joe's. The list of
Candidates, along with their Campaign Statements,
will go out to the email-list after the Meeting. Copies
of the Campaign Statements will be available at
meetings.
Monday, August 8th, 2016: Ballots will be mailed to
all Members-In-Good-Standing, along with the
Candidates’ Campaign Statements. See Elections
Bulletin #1 for further details about the Ballots.
Monday, August 29th, 2016: This is the deadline for
ballots to be returned to the Elections Chairperson,
either hand-delivered or via mail; if mailed they
must be postmarked no later than Monday, August
29th, 2016, in order to be valid.
Wednesday, September 7th, 2016: Winners will be
announced/introduced at the September 7th meeting,
and then posted on the website.
If you have any questions regarding the election
process, please contact us. We will be pleased to
answer any questions that you have. All inquiries will
be held in the strictest confidence. You can speak

Phlocking
Very sad to hear about the recent passing of Jim Morris who was one of Trop Rocks best! Jim played many times in the
early years and for the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club, not to mention the countless times he played for all the clubs around
the country and at MOTM. In 2006 Jim was one of the first artists to step up to write, record and donate a song for the
"Saving Patty Doyle - It's Up To You!" CD that I put together on behalf of the TBPHC which the Save the Manatee Club
sold to raise funds for their great cause. His song, "The Talking Manatee", was certainly one of the cleverest on the CD. It
showed what a creative, witty giant he truly was - even when making a statement about the plight of manatees
Thanks for everything Jim. Sail on my friend!

40+ Parrot Heads braved the hot weather.
Cleaned 2.25 miles of waterway on Parrot
Head Island. Over 1000 lbs. of trash was
collected. And a baby changing table!!!!
