The HOSA officers (pictured above) attended a Fall Leadership opportunity at Newberry College on Oct. 18th. As motorists travel near Richland Two High Schools around lunch time, they should notice school zone safety lights flashing. The lights have been turned on to increase safety. Some students leave campus to purchase lunch at nearby restaurants, increasing traffic in these areas. Motorists are encouraged to always exercise caution and patience when travelling in and around school zones at all times on school days. This is particularly important when students are arriving at and leaving school. High school lunch breaks span from 11:55 AM to 1:27 PM. Individual school lunch times are as follows: Ridge View High School 12:22 – 1:27 PM Blythewood and Richland Northeast High 11:55 AM – 12:25 PM Spring Valley High School 12:16 – 12:51 PM Westwood High School 12:21 – 1:03 PM THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS IN HELPING US TO KEEP OUR STUDENTS SAFE BY WATCHING FOR THE LIGHTS.
