It will also offer Bible Study, Mass, small group discussions and witness talks. For more information about Camp Christian Service Ministries A couple of weeks ago I received a telephone call from a parishioner who was concerned about a newcomer to our parish that did not speak English. The parishioner outlined several things he wanted me to look into to make sure that the new parishioner was okay. So, I setup a meeting with the newcomer and another parishioner who spoke the same language. The parishioner graciously translated for over two hours and helped me to gain insight into our newcomer. Over the next several days, numerous other parishioners called or approached me with the same concern. I assured them that we had met with him and were in contact with his family. The outpouring of concern from parishioners demonstrated people in our parish living their faith. It helped me to reflect on part of Pope Francis's Lenten reflection, "Faith finds expression in concrete everyday actions meant to help our neighbors in body and spirit". Thank you to the people who reached out or assisted me with our new parishioner. You have truly demonstrated God's love and mercy. You have also helped to remind us that we are a parish family open to all! I hope you have a blessed and happy Easter! The Share Fund The Share Fund is used solely to help people in need. Please consider making a donation to The Share Fund either with your weekly offertory green envelope or specifically requesting a portion of your online giving be contributed to The Share Fund.
