CHAPLAIN’S COMMENTS:
Friends & Comrades,
Rain is gone, the flowers are here and it’s time to party. Big doings at 7741;
we have dinners, burgers, sports, and plenty of beer!
Saturday May 14th Jack & Mike are doing a 1/2 Barbequed Bird dinner
with 5 bean salad or potato salad for your enjoyment! Only $10.
Women’s AUX will follow up the weekend after with pork chops and all the
fixings, always MARVELOUS!!!
Burgers on Saturdays with some Reds Baseball!
June brings in summer with pool parties, grass cutting, golf, and grilling
out!
The little post is celebrating 25 years supporting the VFW and all it stands
for.
The Big Shebang is scheduled for June 25th, Please mark your calendars!
The anniversary party is put on by all associated with the club. Stop in
from the pool, (Guys, no speedos please!) the golf course or wherever else
you may be this BIG DAY!!!
If you see someone in a military uniform, thank them!
Believers who have truly offered
themselves “as living sacrifices” to
God will have different mindsets
and will desire new lifestyles. The
world will continue to exert pressure
on Christians as long as they live to
conform to its ways. The word
transformation suggests a complete
change from the inside out. It
begins in the “mind” where all of our
thoughts and actions are born. With
spiritual transformation comes a
desire to follow Christ’s Will for our
lives. Paul described God’s Will as
that which is good, what is pleasing
to God, and what is perfect for each
believer.

Canteen Corner:
I want to once again say thanks to all
our loyal members and to all the
great volunteers we have. More
people are getting involved and that
lets us, as a post, do more. We are
nothing without our members help! I
can’t wait until the weather gets
warmer. I am looking forward to
spring and remember if you have
any questions or comments, please
call me at the post or e-mail me at
