Hello Everyone,
If you want to have friends to ride with, GWRRA is the place for you. There is literally
something for everyone. I joined a few years ago because I do not like to ride alone. As
an gracefully maturing older woman (LOL), I felt riding alone presented some dangerous obstacles: like being stranded out in the middle of nowhere with no help!!
That has changed for me in some respects. I have found new friends and several new
jobs to keep me busy (see title above). Not only have my riding skills increased with all
the classes I have been able to take, but I am learning to do the repair work and installations on my trike. Yes ladies, you can do it too. It is really not hard when you have the
right tools and a knowledgeable person to walk you through it. Mark Thrasher, the
Chapter B Technical Director, helped me change a flasher relay on my 08 Trike. Yep,
took the whole front of the trike apart piece by piece, located the relay, changed it out
and replaced all the parts. Did not even have any parts left over on the floor when I got
done. And you know what, I felt DAMN GOOD about doing it myself. THANKS
MARK.
I think we all need to be able to do small fixes on our rides. Try to come out to our next
TECH DAY and learn how to accomplish these repairs. You will be amazed what you
can do.

Well this month BOOM our mascot is getting
some new attire. He has his motorcycle thanks
to Kay and Smitty and now some new duds are
in his future. Vest and Chaps. Everyone is
helping to make him a respectable
“BOOMERANGER”. Judy will be hosting
another scrapbooking day this month. Day to
be announced. Watch your emails ladies and
gents. What a great chapter!!!

MARK THRASHER
This kit is made by GoldwingHID’s and is designed to replace the two stock
halogen low beam headlight bulbs on the Goldwing GL1800. It includes two
35 watt HID H7 bulbs aloneg with two slimline ballasts and all of the wiring,
hardware and instructions needed to convert your low beam headlight bulbs
to HID’s. These High Intensity Discharge bulbs put out 3 times of the light
of the stock 55 watt halogen bulbs while drawing less power and they run
cooler.
