From the President’s Corner
Our 43rd Florida State Winnie Gators Rally was a huge success! I would like to thank all of the attendees, 222 coaches,
all of the out of state guests, our awesome group of vendors, 2 Dealers and all of our Florida Chapters for making this
the best Rally yet! I still can’t believe that we had 67 first timers! We met some of the nicest folks from 24 states and
they all said that they were having a great time. Our chapters were all willing to jump in and lend a hand wherever and
whenever needed to keep things moving smoothly. The Caloosas, Buccaneers, Suncoast, Funtimers, Dubols, South
Florida, Mid Florida, Sunshine Winnies, Space Coast and Panhandle Winnies all did a wonderful job handling their
tasks.
The decorations were second to none, thanks to South Florida and also David Norbert and his team. The Jail was fun
and added a new dimension to our Row Party and raised money for our charity, Caring Voice Coalition.
How about the entertainment? WOW! The Friday night DJ did a great job keeping the group on its toes and the
Officers new band, The Florida Southwest Wild Gang, was a lot of fun for us and we hope, entertaining for all of you!
Saturday night at the Luuzers Saloon yielded plenty of FREE Beer & Wine and a very entertaining show featuring Neil
Zirconia! Neil & Lori were awesome and well received by all!
I hope that you were all able to attend many of the great seminars that were designed to teach you a little more about
microwave/convection cooking, coach maintenance, the importance of wives learning to drive a coach and many others.
Many of us were able to get our coaches detailed by Hottie Detail who did an amazing job!
We are already working on next year’s event and have some amazing entertainment lined up and a few new and
different things for your enjoyment. Without competing with the FMCA event in Perry next year I am hoping for close
to 300 attendees and an even larger group of “No Tow Bagos”!!
We look forward to seeing many of you at our May meeting at Alligator Park in Punta Gorda. It’s a great facility and
there will be lots to do! It is a 50’s theme, so pull out the poodle skirts and saddle shoes, white Tee Shirts and Jeans and
practice your swing, Jitter Bug and Twisting!

MAY MEETING SILENT AUCTION
Each coach family is asked to bring one item (or more) for the Silent Auction. The
items will be placed on tables with a bid sheet. Everyone will have the opportunity to
view the items and place their bid. Items for donation can be new or regift, food
items, gift cards, etc. The winners will be announced on Saturday after the business
meeting. Now is the time to do your spring clean-out!

and put it with your 2014 Membership Directory. If you did not received a new directory I will have them at the State Meeting in Punta
