(6) You will directly input your entries, including options, at the cashier windows using a touch screen system. Upon paying your entry fees, you will be supplied with a receipt showing your squad, and position, along with your class / yardage, options and applicable categories for each event entered. Once you leave the cashier window your entry cannot be changed for options or squadding. (7) Squadding will be restricted to a maximum of 2 yards, and 1 yard for 18-20 yard shooters on a squad. (8) The cashier will accept no counter checks or secondary party checks and the only type of cash or check accepted will be U.S. funds. Checks will be accepted for the amount of shooting fees only - No Exceptions. (9) All entries are final. No additions or withdrawals permitted on purses and options. NO ENTRIES REFUNDED UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELLED. 6 RULES AND REGULATIONS (1) Should you win or tie for high in a class in any 16 yard or doubles event or earn yardage in any handicap event, it shall be your responsibility to report to the handicap desk and have your yardage increased or classification reviewed. Any Shooter having won or tied their class starting with the class singles (EV 10) and class doubles (EV 12) will automatically be moved up a class. Shooters whose class or yardage is changed for any reason shall be considered to be notified when the new class or yardage is posted on the bulletin board. (2) Any shooter failing to carry out rule 1 above, or who shoots in an incorrect class or from a yardage higher or lower than that assigned by the handicap committee, will be subject to disqualification and will not be eligible to share in any money division or be eligible for trophies. (3) All Ladies, Sub-Juniors, Junior, Veterans, and Senior-Vets must declare their special category at the time of classification in any registered tournament if they wish to compete as a category shooter. Without such declaration, the contestant will not be allowed to compete for the applicable category trophy for the duration of the tournament. No contestant will be allowed to declare or change a special declaration after firing his/her first shot. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Failure to declare your classification does not constitute an ATA classification error. Please check your classification receipt before leaving the classification window. (4) Each shooter who is entitled to receive money won during any event agrees that if such money is not received by him during the period of this tournament, a check in payment for the money won may be mailed to him at the address indicated by ATA records, and when so mailed, the club will not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any check lost, stolen, unclaimed or otherwise not received or not cashed by the shooter. Additionally, each shooter acknowledges that IRS regulations require 1099 reporting on winnings totaling $600 or more for each calendar year, and that a Social Security number is required before event winnings checks can be distributed or mailed. Please note, all options checks are void if not cashed within 90 days, as stated on checks. (5) Management will not be responsible for errors in scores after the options have been posted. Shooters should use the electronic bulletin board and the score board to check their scores and notify shoot management immediately if a discrepancy is noticed. SCORES BECOME FINAL 1 HOUR AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT. (6) Shooters’ yardage and classification will be ATA assigned yardage or at the discretion of the classification committee. New shooters without an established average for 16 yard targets and doubles targets shall be placed in class B or higher at the discretion of the classification committee. (7) In an effort to avoid unused positions, it is imperative that you either cashier or release all positions that you have squadded for prior to the event. Anyone that does not cashier or release positions that have been squadded in their name will risk having any or all subsequent squadded positions in their name released by management. You may call the office at 419-2530035 if you cannot make it to the club in time and have your position released. (4) Any special category shooter, whose score does not qualify for a trophy in his/ her category, may compete for place, class or yardage group trophies. For Camping Information: Visit www.thecardinalcenter.com or call 419-253-0800 For Golf Cart Rentals: Call Golf Car Company · 800-589-8833 Rules for Kolar Contest on Page 25 KOLAR $2500.00 ADDED MONEY: The top three scores over all divide $1500.00: $750 1st, $500 2nd, $250 3rd, by score and ties divide. The balance of $1000.00 is done by a “pull a number” and they shoot off in a miss and out for 2 places $600 / $400 “any ties will divide 2nd place.” Top $1500 Example: You have 2-99, 3-98, 5-97 then the 99s split the $750, the 98s split the $500, and the 97s split the $250. Balance $1000.00 Example - 1st place wins $600.00 and 2nd place wins $400.00 “any ties will divide 2nd place.” Example: a number is pulled; all scores ending in that number will shoot off in a miss and out until you have your top 2 winners. Note: If you are one of the top winners (ex. 99/98/97) and your number is also drawn for the $1000.00 shoot off you may win or participate in only one share of winnings. You may either take the high score winnings and not be eligible for the shoot off, or give up the sure money and become eligible for the shoot off. This declaration must be made immediately to the shoot off committee once the number is drawn. By default you will be placed in the top score group. 8 Ithaca Gun Give-Away Thursday, August 22 One number each will be selected from events 7 and 9 (1) An individual must participate in (and complete) the event. (2) A Gun Company representative will publicly and randomly select one number per event from zero to nine upon completion of the posted event used for the gun shoot-off. The drawn number per events and a list of eligible shooters will be posted on the score board on the following day. (3) Shooters with a score (shot in one of the events) ending in the number selected per event will be eligible for the gun shoot-off. For example: if the number three (3) is drawn, all qualifying participants with a score of 93, 83, 73, 63, etc. are eligible to compete in the shoot-off. (4) In the event of the drawn numbers creating multiple entries All individuals may enter only once in the shoot off. (5) Be sure to check your score promptly. For purposes of these promotions, no scores will be changed after the drawing of the random numbers. (6) A time and place for all qualifying shooters to register for shoot-off will be announced over the PA system, posted on the score board and posted at the participating Gun Company. (7) On Friday, August 23, immediately following the day’s last event, all shooters who have signed up for the shoot-off will be called to the shoot-off line and should have their guns and shells ready. Shoot-off participants will be assigned to squads based upon yardage and at the discretion of Shoot-Off management. You must have signed up for the shoot off by 5PM on Friday, August 23.
