NOTICES
IRS NOTIFICATION
IRS regulations require a Social Security number before event winnings checks can be distributed. IRS regulation require anyone receiving $600 or more from options, added money
or any other winnings in the calendar year at the Cardinal Center to be issued a 1099 MISC.
You may enter your social security number into the data base at any kiosk located in the
CEB. If you anticipate receiving option checks through the mail it will be necessary to report
your Social Security number in the CEB. Checks will not be mailed without a social security
number. Each shooter who is entitled to receive money won during any event agrees that if
such money is not received by him/her during the period of this Tournament, a check in payment for the money won may be mailed to him/her at the address indicated by A.T.A. records.
TARGET PRICES
Due to the inability to lock in any target prices for 2013, nor to prepay for any 2013 targets,
Cardinal Center reserves the right to add a target surcharge to the program target fees,
should we incur unexpected target price increases throughout the shooting season. Any
target surcharges will be posted at the cashier counter.
VEHICLES
Motor bikes, skateboards, and bicycles are not permitted on the grounds until the last shot
is fired in the regular program each day. Drivers of any recreational vehicles (golf carts,
atv’s etc.) must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license to operate
these units on the Cardinal Center grounds. The Cardinal Center has the right to take
away the privilege of using a rented or personal recreational vehicle due to irresponsible use.

be allowed on the grounds, nor shall any literature of any kind be distributed on the grounds
without prior written approval by Cardinal Center.

SHOOTER’S RESPONSIBILITY
ENTRY AND SHOOTING PROCEDURE
(1) Take your average card to the classification desk. Do not attempt to make your
program entries before doing so.
(2) BE SURE YOUR AVERAGE CARD IS UP-TO-DATE. Be sure you check your
ticket and see that your class and handicap yardage are correct prior to leaving
the classification desk. It is your responsibility to know the rules. You are subject to penalties for shooting in the wrong classification or at the wrong yardage
even if your card is so marked. It is the responsibility of category shooters to
see that they are so marked at the time they are classified/handicapped.
(3) Pre-squadding services are being offered, go to www.rjstuart.com for online pre-squadding or download a form to mail in by USPS to: Cardinal Center
Campground, Attn: Pre Squadding, P.O. Box 247, Marengo, Ohio 43334
(4) The use of paper entry cards has been eliminated. Please be sure to have your
ATA plastic card when you are at the entry windows. You will not be able to
enter any events without your plastic card.
(5) If you draw squad positions that will not be used for an event, please see
squadding personnel or use the self-service terminals to release your position.
Releasing your position allows us to fill holes in open squads, making this tournament more enjoyable for all shooters. A shooter may not draw more than
one (1) position per event.
(6) You will directly input your entries, including options, at the cashier windows
using a touch screen system. Upon paying your entry fees, you will be supplied
with a receipt showing your squad, and position, along with your class / yardage, options and applicable categories for each event entered. Once you leave
the cashier window your entry cannot be changed for options or squadding.
(7) Squadding will be restricted to a maximum of 2 yards, and 1 yard for 18-20 yard
shooters on a squad.
(8) The cashier will accept no counter checks or secondary party checks and the
only type of cash or check accepted will be U.S. funds. Checks will be accepted
for the amount of shooting fees only - No Exceptions.
(9) All entries are final. No additions or withdrawals permitted on purses and options. NO ENTRIES REFUNDED UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELLED.
6
RULES AND REGULATIONS
(1) Should you win or tie for high in a class in any 16 yard or doubles event or earn
yardage in any handicap event, it shall be your responsibility to report to the
handicap desk and have your yardage increased or classification reviewed. Any
Shooter having won or tied their class starting with the class singles (EV 10)
and class doubles (EV 12) will automatically be moved up a class. Shooters
whose class or yardage is changed for any reason shall be considered to be
notified when the new class or yardage is posted on the bulletin board.
(2) Any shooter failing to carry out rule 1 above, or who shoots in an incorrect class
or from a yardage higher or lower than that assigned by the handicap committee, will be subject to disqualification and will not be eligible to share in any
money division or be eligible for trophies.
(3) All Ladies, Sub-Juniors, Junior, Veterans, and Senior-Vets must declare their
special category at the time of classification in any registered tournament if
they wish to compete as a category shooter. Without such declaration, the contestant will not be allowed to compete for the applicable category trophy for the
duration of the tournament. No contestant will be allowed to declare or change
a special declaration after firing his/her first shot. There will be no exceptions
to this rule. Failure to declare your classification does not constitute an ATA
classification error. Please check your classification receipt before leaving the
classification window.
(4) Each shooter who is entitled to receive money won during any event agrees
that if such money is not received by him during the period of this tournament,
a check in payment for the money won may be mailed to him at the address
indicated by ATA records, and when so mailed, the club will not be liable in any
manner whatsoever for any check lost, stolen, unclaimed or otherwise not received or not cashed by the shooter. Additionally, each shooter acknowledges
that IRS regulations require 1099 reporting on winnings totaling $600 or more
for each calendar year, and that a Social Security number is required before
event winnings checks can be distributed or mailed. Please note, all options
checks are void if not cashed within 90 days, as stated on checks.
(5) Management will not be responsible for errors in scores after the options have
been posted. Shooters should use the electronic bulletin board and the score
board to check their scores and notify shoot management immediately if a discrepancy is noticed. SCORES BECOME FINAL 1 HOUR AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT.
(6) Shooters’ yardage and classification will be ATA assigned yardage or at the
discretion of the classification committee. New shooters without an established
average for 16 yard targets and doubles targets shall be placed in class B or
higher at the discretion of the classification committee.
(7) In an effort to avoid unused positions, it is imperative that you either cashier
or release all positions that you have squadded for prior to the event. Anyone
that does not cashier or release positions that have been squadded in
their name will risk having any or all subsequent squadded positions in
their name released by management. You may call the office at 419-2530035 if you cannot make it to the club in time and have your position released.
(8)You are not considered entered into any event until you have cashiered for that
event. If you shoot an event before you have paid for that event your scores will
be disqualified.
7
CATEGORY SHOOTERS
(1) At all tournaments where All American points will be awarded in any event,
shooters may declare only one category (i.e. Lady, Sub-Junior, Junior, Veteran, or Senior Veteran) Note: Chair shooters may declare chair and only one
other category.
(2) Any shooter who is tied for event Champion may shoot off/carry-over for the
Championship trophy. If a shooter fails in the championship trophy shoot-off/
carry-over and has declared a special category at the time of classification, the
shooter can fall back to the declared category only.
(3) Any shooter who has declared a special category at the time of classification
and whose score qualifies for any trophy in his/her declared category, will compete for the category trophy and not for place, class or yardage group.
(4) Any special category shooter, whose score does not qualify for a trophy in his/
her category, may compete for place, class or yardage group trophies. Once any
declarations have been made either by a shooter or shoot management, the declaration is final and cannot be changed. There shall be no exception to this rule.

Rules for Kolar Contest on Page 25
KOLAR $2500.00 ADDED MONEY: The top three scores over all divide
$1500.00: $750 1st, $500 2nd, $250 3rd, by score and ties divide. The
balance of $1000.00 is done by a “pull a number” and they shoot off in a miss
and out for 2 places $600 / $400 “any ties will divide 2nd place.”
Top $1500 Example: You have 2-99, 3-98, 5-97 then the 99s split the
$750, the 98s split the $500, and the 97s split the $250. Balance $1000.00
Example - 1st place wins $600.00 and 2nd place wins $400.00 “any ties will
divide 2nd place.”
Example: a number is pulled; all scores ending in that number will shoot off in
a miss and out until you have your top 2 winners.
Note: If you are one of the top winners (ex. 99/98/97) and your number is
also drawn for the $1000.00 shoot off you may win or participate in only
one share of winnings. You may either take the high score winnings and
not be eligible for the shoot off, or give up the sure money and become
eligible for the shoot off. This declaration must be made immediately to
the shoot off committee once the number is drawn. By default you will
be placed in the top score group.
8

Transverse Mounted Hinge Pin. No wimpy
trunnions here. The Browning Citori is designed
to wear in, not out with an oversized, full-width
hinge pin that increases rigidity and surface
area for long wearing, competition crushing
performance. It’s just part of what makes the
Citori legendary.

The new DT11 will quickly become your all-time favorite.
Perfect timing. The new DT11 competition shotgun provides the balance, power,

technologies, features and finishes—your time has come. Don’t miss it.
Then again, with the DT11 you’re not likely to miss anything.
