(2. Klasse) fahren Sie nach Melk und besichtigen
dort das Stift. Mit dem Schiff geht es weiter nach

mit der Bahn wieder zurück nach Wien. Sie können die Tour aber

With the Wachau ticket, you can experience a very special
type of trip to the Wachau region: take the train (2nd class)
to Melk, where you visit the Benedictine abbey. A ship then
takes you onwards to Krems. During the journey, enjoy the
view of the natural and cultural beauty along both shores.
If you would like to explore one of the picturesque Wachau
villages (such as Dürnstein), feel free to make a stop and
catch one of the following ships to continue your journey.
From Krems, you can take the train back to Vienna. You also have the choice
of beginning your tour in Krems and then catching the train back to Vienna
in Melk. Available for € 53 per person (rail travel 2nd class) at the ÖBB

bezaubernde Keramikstadt Gmunden am Traunsee, die Kaiservilla
in Bad Ischl oder den mystischen Hallstätter See.

can also be reached comfortably by rail. Allow us to take you to the
enchanting pottery town of Gmunden am Traunsee, the imperial villa
(Kaiservilla) in Bad Ischl or the mystical Lake Hallstatt.
In Gmunden bringt Sie die Straßenbahn vom Bahnhof direkt ins Zentrum und zum Ufer des Traunsees, wo Sie auch eine Schiffrundfahrt
machen können. In Bad Ischl befindet sich der Bahnhof direkt in der
Stadt. Zur Kurzone mit ihren Promenaden und zur Kaiservilla sind es
nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß.
In Gmunden, the tram takes you directly from the train station to the
town centre and the shore of Lake Traunsee, where you also have
the opportunity of taking a boat tour. In Bad Ischl, the train station
is located right in the town centre. A walk of only a few minutes will
take you to the spa zone with its promenades and the imperial villa.

Die ehemalige Residenzstadt der Fürsten Esterházy hat ihren
Besuchern eine Menge zu bieten. Neben der denkmalgeschützten
Altstadt zählen das Schloss Esterházy mit seinem Schlosspark und
das Haydn Haus zu den Highlights.
Mit der Bahn gelangen Sie in 72 Minuten ab Wien Hauptbahnhof
dorthin. Die Fahrt führt durch die romantischen Weinorte (z.B.
Breitenbrunn, Purbach, Donnerskirchen) der UNESCO-Welterberegion Neusiedler See.
The former residence of the Esterházy princes has a lot to offer to its
visitors. Apart from a historic city centre which is protected as a landmark, the main sights include the Esterházy Palace with its palace
gardens and the Haydn house. By rail, you can reach the town from
Vienna Main Station in 72 minutes. The journey will take you through
the romantic wine villages (e.g. Breitenbrunn, Purbach or Donnerskirchen) along your way through the UNESCO World Heritage Region of

Mit den Bussen der Vienna Airport Lines reisen Sie bequem zum Flughafen Wien. Halbstündliche Verbindungen werden von Morzinplatz/
Schwedenplatz (U1, U4) und Wien Westbahnhof (U3, U6) mit Halt
Volkstheater (U2, U3), Rathaus (U2) und Schottentor (U2) angeboten.
Im Stundentakt gibt es Verbindungen ab dem Donauzentrum (U1)
via Vienna International Center (U1).
ÖBB Railjet and Intercity: From Vienna Main Station
to the airport in as little as 16 minutes
Quickly and comfortably with ÖBB Railjet and Intercity trains from
Vienna Meidling (U6, S) or from the Vienna Main Station (U1, S) to
Vienna airport. Departure times: fahrplan.oebb.at.
ÖBB S-Bahn: Short intervals and
connections to the Vienna subway
The S7 takes you from many train stations and stops in Vienna (e.g.
Vienna Floridsdorf, Vienna Handelskai, Vienna Praterstern, Vienna
Mitte) to Vienna airport at half-hour intervals between 04:36 a.m.
and 10:36 p.m. and at 11:36 p.m. from Vienna Florisdorf. It offers
you short intervals and connections to the Vienna subway network.

City Airport Train: City Check-in included
With a journey time of only 16 minutes from the city center to
Vienna airport the City Airport Train is the fastest way to travel.
The CAT travels between Vienna Mitte station and Vienna International
Airport every thirty minutes from 05:36 to 23:06.
Vienna Airport Lines: We drive, you fly
The buses operated by the Vienna Airport Lines offer another
convenient alternative. They depart every half hour from Morzinplatz/
Schwedenplatz (U1, U4), Vienna West Station (U3, U6), Volkstheater
(U2, U3), Rathaus (U2) and Schottentor (U2). Every hour, there is a
connection from the Danube Centre (Donauzentrum) via the
Vienna International Centre (VIC).

connections daily. From the Budapest Kelenföld train station, the
new metro line 4 takes you directly to the city centre.
