Things to Know
--> Management reserves the right to combine or split out classes, and limit number of tests ridden.
--> Only current EI members qualify for Year-End Awards and discounts. See website www.einw.org
--> Formal show attire not required. Helmets required. Show follows USEF and USDF rules.
--> Discover Pass (or $11 day pass) needed for vehicle at all state parks including Bridle Trails.
--> Directions to Bridle Trails on www.parks.wa.gov No stabling available. Work out of your trailer.
--> Make all checks out to EQUESTRIANS INSTITUTE. Ride times available Thursday before show.
--> Late fees (entering after close date) $5 extra. Entry into show after close date is NOT guaranteed.

2016 SCHOOLING SHOW ENTRY FORM
One entry form per horse/rider combination, per show
*** SIGNATURE REQUIRED FOR VALID ENTRY ***
Entries open one month prior to show date, and must be received by the Saturday which is 8 days before show date. Entries will be
processed on a first come first served basis until show fills. Entry fees are refundable prior to closing date. No refund of entry fees
after closing date. No telephone entries. Entry form available on the EI website www.einw.org. Post entries possible as allowed by
Show Organizer ($5 late fee). Management reserves the right to split or combine classes as warranted by entries. Ribbons awarded to
5 places. Ride times will be available Thursday prior to the competition on the EI website and will be sent out by email. Others can
call Show Organizer on Friday before the show (2-5pm). Shows conducted according to USDF and USEF rules. Competition arena is
full size (20m X 60m) outdoor only sand/rubber mix arenas at Bridle Trails. No stabling available. Competitors work out of their horse
trailer. Horses must be attended at all times. Your well-behaved dog on a leash is welcome at Bridle Trails. Contact show
management to check feasibility of bringing a stallion. Lunge horses only in designated areas behind parking area. Please leave
parking area clean, remove manure and hay. All riders must wear ASTM/SEI Certified headgear while mounted, no exceptions.
Formal show attire is not required; a neat turn out is expected with all riders wearing appropriate riding boots.

Every entry at a schooling show shall constitute an agreement and affirmation that the person making it, whether the owner, lessee, trainer,
manager, rider, or parent of a minor shall be subject to: 1) the rules of the Bridle Trails State Park and Equestrians Institute; 2) are eligible as
entered; 3) are bound by the rules of the Bridle Trails State Park and Equestrians Institute and will accept as final the decision of the show
management on any question arising under said rules and agree to hold Washington State Parks, the management at Bridle Trails State Park
and Equestrians Institute, and their officials, directors, agents, employees and volunteers harmless for any action taken; 4) acknowledge that
they participate voluntarily in the competition fully aware that horse sports and the competition involve inherent dangerous risks, and by
participating they expressly assume any and all risks of injury, loss, or death, and they agree to hold harmless Washington State Parks and
Equestrians Institute and their officials, directors, employees, volunteers and agents for any injury, loss, or death suffered during or in
connection with the competition, whether or not such injury or loss resulted directly or indirectly, from the negligent acts or omissions of said
officials, directors, employees, volunteers or agents of the show, Bridle Trails State Park or Equestrians Institute. The laws of state of
Washington govern the construction or application of said rules.
