Security Excellence Awards
Within his first two months of working at Primark Store in Corby, Security Officer Richard
Baradlai, has already received a ‘WOW’ award after a customer commented on the ‘excellent
customer service’ they received.
Avril Delaney, Store Manager, has also been incredibly
impressed with Richard’s work ethic and is delighted that
he has received such positive feedback. Scott Thurston,
Operations Manager, wanted Richard to be awarded with
a Service Excellence Award in recognition for the great
job he has done because, as he states, ‘Richard is great
ambassador for the company and has excelled in his
role at Primark, despite being very new to the position’.
A special mention and award goes to Security
Officer Nazaqat Mahmood, who works at the Primark
store in Burton upon Trent. Having spotted three
males stealing stock, Naz approached them to
retrieve the items. Unfortunately, the males in
question were very aggressive and Naz was kicked
and punched for his efforts. Whilst the men
got away, Naz did retrieve the stolen stock and
the Police are now reviewing the CCTV footage
to hopefully identify and arrest the individuals
responsible. John Wood, Operations Manager, has
high praise for Naz; ‘He is a motivated, diligent
security officer who will always got the extra
mile to protect the staff and stock at his store
and is highly regarded as a result’.

Security Excellence
Awards
Congratulations also go to Security Officer Derek Jeanne,
who received his Security Excellence Award for the
sterling work he has done at Mothercare’s store in
Cribbs Causeway.
Whilst we’re on the subject of Service Excellence, Nathan
Sherwin, Site Supervisor, wanted a collective award to
be presented to the security officers covering Primark
stores in Chester and Wrexham.
‘ I want to thank them all for their hard work and their willingness
to cover a shift when needed; they never let the side down. Their
joint performance as a team has been of an incredibly high
standard. They excel at customer service and are really proactive
with store theft and anti social behaviour’.
The security super stars, who make up this superb team are as follows:
Security Officer Moulay Moussabel always keeps a keen eye on the shop floor and never misses
anything on CCTV. Moulay is great with customers and is also fluent in Spanish, French and
Arabic, which is a definite asset.
Security Officer Bradley Wellman, despite his ongoing battle with illness, will always be on hand
to cover a shift when needed and consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Security Officers Richard Jones and Mathew (Matty) Preston both travel back and fore from Wrexham
and have done a fantastic job cracking down on the prolific theft that happens in store.

only strengthen our capability, with the added advantage that he has worked with
Chris and David in the past and they operate extremely well as a team. I would like

We received a number of nominations for Derek, who is described as ‘A hardworking
