Texture Plate Smoosh Tutorial

This was contributed by Donna Duquette and filmed by Judy Jackson. A few years ago, these Texture plates
from Fiskars were all the rage. This tutorial encourages you to pull them out and dust them off to make pretty
backgrounds!
Supplies:
- Texture Plate – either by Fiskars or Sizzix
- 2 or 3 Complimentary Dye Ink Pads
- Spray Bottle with Water
- 4 ¼” x 5 ½” White or Light Cardstock
- Scrap Paper
Step One:
Smoosh the lightest color ink pad over the texture plate.

Step Two:
Smoosh the medium color in spots on the texture plate.
Step Three:

Step Six:
Smoosh the darkest color in a few different spots on the texture
plate.
Place card stock on top of texture plate.
Step Seven:
Dry, trim, mount, and embellish as desired.

Spritz the texture plate with water.
Cover with scrap paper and gently rub over the back.
