Dennis Haymon: A Gangster’s Story
GOD CAN SAVE YOUR SON!
Who is Dennis Haymon one may ask? Why a story about this guy - who is he for
real? Well, it really depends on whom you ask, ask my
family or my friends today they would probably say, " I'm an Ordain Elder, a loving
father and grandfather, a son and a great guy to have
as a friend." Well, ask those who knew me best while coming up in the streets of
Saint Louis you would hear, "He could be your best
friend or your worse enemy!" Some would ascribe hoodlum, gangster, mobster,
drug dealer, and infamous Drug King Pin to my
name. In the roaring 1970's as bullets ripped through the streets and the drug
trade flooded the same, I lived my life around the hard
and dangerous street corners of St.Louis as I reigned as one of the elite in the underground heroin rackets. By the standards of money in
the those times I was a successful, accomplish Black Heroin drug dealer with my
fancy lawyers and political ties. At my house rested
several luxury automobiles that graced my driveway - my green Cadillac Seville,
my green Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, my silver El
dorado and my personal favorite - red convertible Corvette. Like most Drug Kingpins my expensive custom made jewelry sets were
second to none and all of some. One set I especially liked was my apple shaped
diamond ring, stickpin , necklace and apple shaped
diamond watch. In itself it was an insurance company nightmare - over a hundred
thousand dollars in jewelry with just that set alone.
Nightclubs, lounges, restaurants, bought my first four houses at the age of twen-
ty-one; promoting entertainment (The Spinners,
Dramatics, Parliament Funkadelic; etc.) at the Checker Dome
Arena and the
Kiel Auditorium. I am not telling you these things to boast or brag, I am simply
painting you a picture of "The Coming
Attraction - The Dennis Haymon Story."
I was more than the comments and
opinions of others - I was and have always been a business man, I even did business with my enemy's. If you were a close friend of mine back then, you were a
known hustler, male or female. If you ran closely with me back then you made
money and money followed
you as you followed me. All the guys in my close circle drove good, slept good,
ate good, dresses good but in realty there was nothing
good for death and destruction awaited all of us. Some of them owned at least two
expensive cars and others lived above their means
and cost me along the way. We lived in $100.000.00 dollar homes, which back then
bought a lot of house. I myself owned such homes
for my family in at least two or three other States.I loved my life and I enjoyed how
I was living. It all sounds glamorous right, not at all.
Guns and violence they were always present.The Drug game is constantly violent - money, dope, sex, women, betrayal of the highest.
Murder are the foundation of the a game and a game it wasn't! I lived in it, I under-
stood it and I honored it but all didn't value it. If you
took my money or my dope you were certain to see and hear my guns roar. I once
loved that life, I loved it because I was winning but
soon and very soon everyone will start to lose. When you start to lose in the dope
game it often begins with bloodshed. It starts with
blood and moves quickly in taking a life.Through the years I was involved in so
many gun plays and there were so many attempts on my
life, I would miss count if I tried to give you an accurate account of the number of
times I eluded death. I have always wonder, " What
did I do to deserve the undeserved." I would need both my fingers and toes to
count the numbers of friends shot dead in those streets,
some falling in my lap with the side of their heads blown off. So much blood, so
many deaths, so many life's lost. Heads were blown off
or worst, some ended up tied up and sliced up like a holiday pig with your throat
cut or prison being eminent and some even the death
penalty. Which brings me to my story today, my testimony.

When you look on Timbaland, Kanye West or Dr.Dre, you probably think:
„how can they produce such fresh beats all the time?“. And it's true,
every beat they make has the potential to become a hit. Well, it's really
not that hard to make it happen. Everyone can do this with a certain
amount of ex- perience. See, the thing is, everyone of these guys has his
own style and working structures. It didn't come over night, of course.
This is a result of
hard work and experience. Not to forget the passion they have when it
comes to making music. The truth is, there are many good producers out
there who are as talented as the big guys in the business, but the difference is that the famous producers have built a reputation for themselves.
So if Timbaland, for example, makes a song, it's guaranteed the song will
be played on the radio or television because everyone knows what hits
he had and the new song might be as hot as the one he produced
before.
Everything really comes down to having your own style, Dr.Dre for example, is known for his westcoast piano sound, you probably heard the
song
Gayla James - Christian / Gospel / R&B Artist
IIt seems like every 10-to-20 years, a new style of Gospel singer is introduced and accepted. In the 1930s Mahalia
Jackson provided new energy to traditional songs. In the 1950s Shirley Caesar became the Story teller of gospel. In the
1970s James Cleveland said that there would be peace and peace was still. In the 1990s Yolanda Adams let the gospel
world of music know that she was every woman and God accepted her just as she was. The 2000s will belong to the
anointed Gayla James.
Gayla, whose heartfelt song testimonials and soul lifting voice tunes have been introducing folks to God since she
began singing in a Ft. Myers, Florida church at the age of three, is releasing her sophomore album, “Broken” due for
release in March 2011.
Thanks to her high powered style and overflowing anointing, Gayla’s has had an opportunity to display her gifts while
performing on the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Show, and with current gospel greats including: Dorothy Norwood, Vickie
Winans, Marvin Sapp, Lee Williams & The QCs, Rance Allen and Kirk Franklin. She was also invited to perform at the
Gospel Music Awards in London.
Though singing was what she was assigned to do, it’s not all that she does for people’s souls. When she is not singing
at charitable events for organizations like the Edison Pageant of Light Art Festival, the United States Postal Service, the
Coconut Christmas Charity, the National Bowling Association Scholarship Program, Echo Juvenile Facility and Flossie
Garden Elderly Center, Gayla is dedicating her time to helping those who are disadvantage in the community. She
currently serves as the gospel coordinator for NFL Player Jevon Kearse Foundation, a position she has held for 10 years.

We are diverse group of gospel musicians and dancers; some based in London England some in Germany. We are multitalented, versatile and filled with anointing to reach out to the unreachable. Our messages in the songs are always
strong and direct. A.K.A Elisha is the group leader. A.K.A Elisha & the New Dimension is a band that was formed in
Germany When A.K.A Elisha went for a routine performance with his wife E. Kay T in Praise & Prayer Centre where we
met and performed with Alls-B for the first time. Like Elisha who got double portion of Elijah's anointing in the bible,
A.K.A Elisha has double portion of blessings (musically). He can do R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Calypso, Contemporary, Rap,
Reggae and African Traditional Rhythms (Rid-dims), and so are the rest of the group , using their gifts of singing and
dancing to reach out to all generations. We are taking this gospel thing to a brand new level. Each one of the band
members are solo artists and worship leaders, E. Kay T, Alls-B and A.K.A Elisha are all songwriters, composers and
performers. Alls-B is an all round musician he plays keyboard, guitar, drums etc. We have as part of the new dimensions
a dance group called Divine Wall Breakers with Marc Michel as the choreographer/ dancer. Our passion is using gospel
music/dance to teach people the way of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have our first EP album called Judgement Day which has been nominated for awards and has been voted album of
the month. Our video ‘No Time’ won the best video of the month and seems very popular with the fans.
D.W., Dana White is a upcoming christian artist from Huntsville, AL. He had a struggles in his life with emotions, selfesteem, impure thoughts, and many other things in his life. He found Christ and the Lord revealed to him his amazing

MIJO Filipino/quarter Hispanic background -Christian Urban (Gospel Soul Artist) who sings from the heart and life
experiences. Mijo is well known for his uniqueness of writing songs that is based on his Christian walk with the Lord. He
has performed all over Melbourne from congregation to congregation showcasing his God given gift to reach out to
people by spreading the message of hope through His music in Him (Almighty). Mijo attended and a part of the singing
music ministry @ Maranatha Church Victoria with his producer James Hollands who directed the long awaited video
single “MY Everything” that has been pended for so many years which is out now released on YouTube and Mp3.
Mijo has currently entered the FastTrack Singing Showcase competition in Melbourne and making it through heats Quaters Finals (receiving A Wild Card Award) and the Semi - finalist (receiving Yamaha SuperStar Awards). Mijo has
worked hard with his music and slowly making his mark in music industry as an Independent Solo artist and has been
commended to be in the finalist and nominated for this years MusicOz Awards held in Sydney.
Mijo has also performed collaborating with other Filipino OZ community musicians bands around Melbourne as a guest
performer attending functions as Charity, father/mothers day events and wedding events

About Good News At first glance Alisha Deallie-Thompson may seem small and petite but this singer/songwriter has

to the world. Her influences included Mahalia Jackson, Yolanda Adams and CeCe Winas, "I have taken from them

recall singing in the kitchen with my Uncle along to Patti Labelle tapes and watching Elivis video's" Alisha says, "I

As I first recognized my natural gift to sing at the age of 7 I wanted to continue developing my vocal
gift through school chorus. Often times I was requested to sing at various events. Disappointments
came, but at the end I realized that this was something I was destined to do.
My music has always been about love and circumstance. It is inspired by the fire of love, the
inspiration of dreams and the hope of change.

Hostyle Gospel Ministries originated in 2003 from a central Illinois group called The Elite M.O.C.

Big Job (Fontaine Pizza) was added in 2005 as a frontline member, joining them in performances

What Qualities Do Modeling Agencies Seek In A

When a Modeling agency look out for models to represent in it’s client projects, it will have to look out for a number of qualities related to the task that
need to be fulfilled by the model it is going to select. The choice of models
and the physical qualifications for a particular project is variable according
to the job they wish to accomplish. For example, if a modeling company
wants to opt for models to support ramp walks, they will have asset of requirements, next if they need a photo shoot model they will have a set of
qualities they look in for. So qualities keeps changing as requirements keep
changing and nothing is as permanent as it seems to be in modeling world.
The important thing that a modeling agency seeks in a model is how adaptable is the model and how well is she wearing the skin of a particular costume and its mood. A model must obviously be camera-friendly and have a
great body that can be showed with delight.

I have been so very lucky and fortunate to have been put into the wonderful hands of Hank Hughes
from Townhouse Studios, home to Robbie Williams, Pharell Williams, Beyonce and Coldplay to name
but a few! It is here that I have just finished recording my demo cd.
At the moment, I am studying Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Warwick. I travel
up and down to my hometown, London, to record my music with a pair of excellent producers Hank
and Jim, and to pursue my dream of becoming a successful pop artist.
From a young age, I have always had a natural love for music. I play keyboards and drums, but singing
has always been my ultimate joy and love. I have never had any formal vocal training, I taught myself
to sing by listening to my heroes as I was growing up.
My style is hard to pin down, I love all sorts of music and therefore my voice draws resonance to
many different styles. I love blues,soul and motown music, but I also love pop and rock. My ultimate
influences are Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Freddie Mercury, Eva Cassidy, Joss Stone and KT Tunstall

O. T. Sykes "The Singing Dentist" - Soul / R&B / Blues Artist
O. T. Sykes
The Singing Dentist" Dr. O. T. Sykes was born in Cross County, Arkansas . As a young man, he moved to Parkins, AR; where he
graduated from Central High School . He then attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (formerly known as AM&N College
) from 1958 -1962. In 1967, he enrolled at the Howard University School of Dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery
(DDS) in 1970.
In 1970, he then moved to Memphis, TN , where he interned for the noted Dr. Arthur Gipson. He perfected his craft for six (6)
months and then ventured out on his own.
Dr. O. T. Sykes began writing and singing while in college.
He co-wrote and produced several songs on his original album “First Love” and had more than a few hits from his initial and
subsequent releases. His popularity spanned throughout the tri-sate area and he became affectionately known as the “Singing
Dentist”. He has performed at a multitude of concerts, clubs and special events. His velvety voice and classic good looks make him
a crowd pleaser.
His vocal style hints of the innate sensitivity of Brian Ingram, the "bluesiness" of Johnnie Taylor, the smooth funkiness of Al Green
and the melodious soulfulness of the late great Sam Cooke. His rendition of Cooke’s singles "Chain Gang and "You Send Me" on

Karen Clark-Sheard was born into gospel royalty and was pretty much expected to
continue the reign. The child of gospel matriarch Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark and one third of
the crossover gospel trendsetters the Clark Sisters, she branched out with her first solo
effort, Finally Karen, in 1997. Her vocal prowess was undeniable, with heavy jazz/R&B
influences, amazing runs and some serious soprano gospel chops. But in case there was
any question about her prodigious talent, the attention her debut received answered it,
garnering a Grammy nod for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album and four Stella
awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Contemporary Female
Vocalist of the Year, and Children's Performance of the Year.
He grew up in the church and got saved at age 13. During that time he wrote religious raps and performed at
church. He felt good representing Jesus. Although he was writing Godly raps, he was also doing secular raps as well.
There was an internal battle within himself that he had to conquer that lasted for the majority of his teen years.
He was in junior high and high school performing at neighborhood parties with his five duece friends. In 1995, he
invited his click to the youth revival at his church where he was performing. His friends never knew of the gospel
rap he was doing and to their amazement, as they sat in the balcony, Chuck had seniors, young adults and kids
bouncing to Jesus. They began calling him the Poetic Prophet. After graduating high school in 1997, he and his
friend Brew (Dark Sunz) and 2Phat (Dark Sunz) released Darkside of the Game. It was their first project and it was
hot. They had a great local buzz and were doing local concerts. Chuck was due to release a solo album next but
never did. The potential deal went bad. That was when he made the decision to stick to gospel rap.
Chuck had a few kids and got married. Family life absorbed majority of his time so production of the album was
slow and cheap. He met with a host of other producers who were mainly old friends(DJ Kodine from Kodine
Entertainment and Mo Bread Entertainment) and his kinfolk(CK Sound) who learned the skill of making beats. In
late 2004, he used a pre production studio in his friends garage and recorded the album. In 2005, he made his own
graphics and disc labels, bought CD's and burned them on his home personal computer and began selling them.
Lyrical Messages volume 1 was his first project. Now with a growing fan base, a stronger faith in Jesus Christ, and
more knowledge about the industry, he has released volume 2, it's called Get Saved, and yes it is available now
What’s on Your Mind?
John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another.
loved you, so you must love one another.
As I have
Love and relationships are frequently on our minds, in our hearts and a
driving desire. But what hinders us from finding and maintaining the love
we not only desires, and in short, what prevents us from loving as Jesus
commands us? One relationship that affords us the opportunity to fulfill this
command, to love fully and completely is marriage. Yet, it is the one
relationship that love is often most fleeting. Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, in
his book Love & Respect; uses two acronyms as tools to help couples
obtain the relationship they desire. With the acronymC.O.U.P.LE he gives
advice to husbands and with the acronym C.H.A.I.R.S he gives advice to
wives.
Let’s start with C.O.U.P.LE. The first letter, C stands for
closeness. He points out that women want closeness.
In fact it is a
biblical truth that speaks volumes of insight to be to husbands in the book of
Genesis. The husband is told to leave and cleave to his wife. When we think
of cleaving we think of clinging, holding and keeping close to one another.
Indeed,cleaving means spiritual and emotional closeness. This passage
lets husbands know up front that your wife will feel loved when you move
toward her and let her know that you want to be close. The letter O stands
for openness; the natural tendency is for men be mysterious, whereas women
are expressive-responsive, with a basic desire to talk openly about any and
everything. The letter U stands for understanding. We see in 1 Peter 3:7
the Apostle Peter advises husbands to live with their wives according to
understanding. The key to understanding isrealizing that it occurs over time,
and talking is the key ingredient to understanding.
P
stands
for
peacemaking; she wants you to say, “I’m sorry”. Dr. Eggerichs asserts that
in a lot of ways, peacemaking may be the most import component. For
example, if there is a rift, a conflict, even a sense of tension you and your
wife are not fully at peace you can’t really feel connected. Without peace in
your relationship you cant feel close, you cant feel open and certainly not
understood. L stands for loyalty; this essentially points to
the need
for her to
feel
the reassurance of your
commitment. A a reminder of how God feels about marital loyalty read
Malachi 2:14-15. The NIRV states “Don’t break your promise to the wife
of you married when you were young.
I hate divorce, says the Lord
God of Israel.”
Finally the letter E stands for esteem; husbands should
esteem their wives above themselves, above all others. In other words
honor and cherish her. I dare say a wife who is esteemed will fall all over
herself with R-E-S-P- E-C-T for her husband.
The major values that
speak to the hearts of husbands can be best remembered with the acronym
C.H.A.I.R.S. The letter C represents Conquest. This has nothing to do
with the chauvinistic perception that men believe that they have the right to
conquer women physically, sexually, mentally and emotionally.
Rather,
it speaks to your husbands desire to work and achieve. H represents
Hierarchy. The biblical hierarchy is that he is the head, not as a source of
male superiority, to lord over and abuse, but rather to protect and provide.
In fact the word of God is clear, “the evil man brings evil things out of the
evil…in his heart” Luke 6:45 NIV. The letter A is for Authority.
The husband has authority in the home and wives should appreciate his
desire to serve and to lead. Husbands want their wives to acknowledge that
he is the leader, the one in authority. God has made husband responsible
(review Ephesians 5:25-33) and he needs the authority to carry out that
responsibility; with having more authority comes more responsibility before
God.
Then
we
have
the
letter
I;
t
It stands for insight.
Wives must appreciate their husbands desire to
analyze and counsel.
So, while marriage needs her intuition it also
needs his insight. There needs to be balance, so don’t overly value your
women’s intuition and put down his insight, both are valuable and needed.
The letter R is for relationships.
Men desire relationship, it is just the
avenue to it is different for husbands.
Husbands
communicate with wives by wanting them to “just sit with me” without the
need to talk, this is for them, significant work on the relationship. Men
prefer shoulder-to-shoulder communication instead of face-to-face talking.
Dr. Eggerichs says that the wife can show her husband that she likes him
and that she is his friend when she just watches what he is dong or by
watching his TV shows with him even though she gets nothing out of it.
The final letter is S, for sexuality.
Men need
sexual release just as women need emotional release.
The word
of God is clear that wives must not deprive their husbands.

Corinthians 7:3 remind us of this, it says “the husband must fulfill his duty
to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband.” Wives that are
successful in their marriage realize that sexuality ministers to their husbands
on a spiritual level.
Therefore, just as he should minister to your
spirit, wives minister to the spirits of their husbands when they allow him
access to their bodies.
Indeed, fulfilling the this greatest commandment of all is on my

Strategies

If you desire to have good time management then you need to have
a strategy or an action plan. Following these strategies will help you
get the most out of your days.
First thing to do is Prioritize your work.
Start each day by ranking the things that you much do. Starting with
the most important and unpleasant tasks first, then go from there.
Those things that can wait for later that day should be listed towards the bottom of your list. Don't make your list too long because
there are only so many hours in a day and you don't want to feel
like you will never get it all accomplished.
Second thing is to Assign Work Time Frame for each task.
At first this might not seem realistic but it is mostly so that you will
have some sort of idea how long it will take to finish each task. You
will find that once you start a task, it won't really take very long unless it is a big project. If so, then break it down so that you can see
some progress.
Third Be Flexible.
Unexpected things come up from time to time so if you have to stop
to take care of some other matter, do not worry and stress out if you
don't accomplished a certain task in the time frame you set. Just
like the saying goes, "Rome wasn't built in a day" so make sure you
allow for those time when things come up. Don't let these things
such as phone calls, important emails,kids and life in general frustrate you, the important thing to remember is that you are making
progress on your list
.
Fourth thing is to Say No if it isn't important.
Whether you work from home or out of the home there are things
that can distract us and waste time. Limit small talk with co-workers, family, friends, etc. while you are working. Respect your decision to make a plan and stick to it. Others will need to understand
that if it isn't something that needs to be taken care of right this
minute then it can wait.
Fifth is to Delegate.
Remember that you probably can't do everything yourself so if
there is a task that you might not be very good at or like doing and
there is someone that can do the task then by all means pass it
on. In this way the task will get done and you won't waste time
putting it off because you can't accomplish it yourself.
Compromise when necessary.
As your day progresses the urgency of a task may also change.
There may be times when your tasks will need to be re-prioritized,
rescheduled, postponed or dropped altogether, making adjustments
if things come up that needs your attention is important.
Everyone has limitations and if you realize what those are then you
will know what you can work on later to improve those skills or
know in advance what tasks you will need help with.
Learning to manage your time is not to stress your day so remember to relax and learn as you go. The more you practice managing
your time, the better you will get at it. Time management is so that
you will take control of your days and see how much you really can
accomplish each day and then enjoy some time with family and
friends. This is your only viable option no matter where you are
working, this is the only way to accomplish anything worthwhile.
