Teri Dowell Ussery has a passion for
empowering fellow travelers to embrace
the fullness of God’s grace and peace in
the midst of life’s journey. Teri is currently
co-founder and president of family
[re]design, a ministry to blending families. She and husband Kenneth
followed God’s call to begin a ministry to empower, encourage and
equip blending families on their journey to experience God’s power in
their family.
Alice Lowrie
Bible Study Leader

Alice, and her husband DL Lowrie, have
served together in ministry for over 50
years. Over the years she has spoken to
women across the country. She and her
husband DL are popular speakers at various
Marriage Retreats. Active among her peers, Alice is past president of
the Texas Minister’s Wives Association and active member in the SBC
Ministers’s Wives Association. Alice is the mother of 4 sons, three of
which are pastors and the forth a Christian business man, 4 daughterin-laws, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. We are blessed to
have access to this great lady, her experience, in-site and humor.

Monica says, “Leading God’s people
in praise and worship is an honor and
a responsibility. There is no room for performance, competition
or ego. It is all about leading with humility, understanding and
total surrender to the Most High God. Its purpose is to come
before Him with thanksgiving and praise as we worship Him in
spirit and truth!”

Texas Baptist Home for Children
Texas Baptist Home for Children (TBHC), located in Waxahachie,
Tx, serves children and families through foster care and adoption
services. The children that come to TBHC most often come
from a background of abuse and neglect, and they need constant
reinforcement: spiritually, physically and emotionally. Birth
mothers that consider adoption need understanding and guidance.
TBHC provides the support that these children and birth mothers
