She had a crew of helpers this year to serve “98” attendees! What a glorious Resurrection Sunday we had! Seems like all of South Dakota had “strange” weather from blizzard conditions in the Black Hills to hail, rain and Tornadoes in the central and eastern portion of the state. The following photo is what Tim saw on his drive into church that Sunday. P age 2 V o l u m e 1 , I s s ue 1 HARTZLER / SLCUMB VBS TEAM This was the twelfth year Harry & Mary Hartzler have brought a group of adults, youth, kids to participate in VBS and work projects. Last year and this year they also included an outreach to Lake Andes. There were 115 kids/youth at the Wagner site and 50+ at Lake Andes at the Community Center. They have been asked by the Boys and Girls club to bring a team to Marty. So, this July we are looking to see it this can be done. Not sure where they would meet in Marty; but could/would sleep and prepare meals at ATF in Wagner. We’ll see what the Lord opens up. Next year they hope to get another team out to Lower Brule—Hope Center for a Soccer Camp. ATF K I D Z O N E R O O F P R O J E C T The Roofing Crew of Rapid City (Lyndon Bolt) had plans of roofing the KidZone building Friday and Saturday during the Hartzler/Slocumb team; but due to an abundance” of rain in the West River side of the state, this has been delayed for a few days. Some of those muscle bound guys got the shingles on the roof though!!!! Harry and Dwayne got the project started! S pr i ng / S u m m e r n e w s P age 3 BANNERS PUT UP! After ordering and storing the ATF banner for a couple years, it was located and Harry got that baby up. Looks nice on the front of the church on Main Street. It wasn't too long after the banner arrived for the KidZone that the wind took it down. SO! Harry got this one back up after some time of it being down. Think the wind may leave this one secured for a while. We hope! Actually some information has changed since first getting it; but it let’s people know who and where the KidZone is. O N E WA Y T O S U P P O R T N ATI V E M I N I STRY FILL OUT ONE OF OUR PLEDGE FORMS & SEND TO GENERAL COUNCIL (LARGER FORM ON THE N E X T PA G E ) We thank all who have so faithfully supported us as AG Missionaries for these past “20” years! Many seeds have been planted and a harvest is ripe. Pray the Lord of the harvest will send laborers.
