Celebrating 25 Years of Street Fair
25 Years ago, back in 1991, The Rotary Club of the
Caldwells had a vision, namely to craft together an old
fashioned street fair that would be a fun day for the entire
family, while at the same time raising funds to help the
community. Knowing that this endeavor would require many
people to make it successful, the Rotary Club of the Caldwells
approached the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex and,
the Rotary/ Kiwanis Caldwell Street Fair was born. The first
Street Fair was held in October, 1992 and was a huge
success, attracting almost 10,000 people. It has been held
every year since on the first Sunday of October, and today,
attracts crowds of over 30,000!
The Value of Sponsorship
Premier, Platinum, Gold and Silver Sponsorship categories receive tremendous exposure: You will receive a
banner for use within your own establishment showing your level of sponsorship. Exposure in newspaper ads
and articles in our local newspaper, placemats, the James Caldwell High School and West Essex High School
football programs sold at home games, posters available to local merchants, banners, and signs. On fair day,
announcements of your company’s sponsorship, and, depending on your sponsorship level, vendor space(s)
at the fair, your logo displayed on fair day!

The following pages detail the different sponsorship opportunities that are available
to you. After reviewing the attached, please call 973-618-0660 with any questions.
In view of the exclusive nature of several sponsorships, please return the
enclosed Sponsorship Agreement by the deadline requested, along with a check
for 10% of the sponsorship cost to hold your reservation.

More Sponsorship Opportunities
Placemat advertising: $100/$125
You’re a Placemat Advertiser! Early Birds reserve your ads before July 24th for
$100 and add just $25 for a Full-Color Ad!
More than 30,000 placemats were produced for area restaurants about four weeks
prior to the fair. Each ad measures 2 1/2” x 2 3/8”. Ads can be one, two colors (usually
red and black), or FULL COLOR—A great way to promote
your business while supporting the event and your community!
Rest area sponsor:
$750
You’re the Rest Area Sponsor! located directly behind the Rotary/Kiwanis Food Booth
and soft drink/water station. Submit your signage request to Street Fair with your
company name and logo.
Soft drink/water sponsor:
$750
You’re the sponsor of the Soft Drink and Water Station! Located
at the Rotary/Kiwanis Food Booth at Park and Bloomfield Avenue.

Beer Garden sponsor:
$1,000
Sponsor the most crowded area of the day filled with adults having fun and listening to great music.
Being a Beer Garden sponsor gets your name on an attractive banner displayed in the Beer Garden
located in the parking lot behind the Cloverleaf. Proceeds from the Beer Garden go to community
organizations supported by the local Rotary and Kiwanis clubs.
Live music sponsor:
$1,000
You’re a Live Music Sponsor in the Beer Garden! Located in the
Hanford Place parking lot behind the Cloverleaf Tavern. A large sign
will be placed by the band, with your company name and logo on it
indicating your generous sponsorship.
