Eligibility
Prior to submitting a draft proposal prospective partners are asked to read the following
partnership requirements to determine if their concept or project is eligible for partnership.
A “yes” answer to ALL of the questions below is required for your concept to be eligible.
1. Is the partnership consistent with and in furtherance of the Montgomery Parks
mission? Will it enhance the Parks system (value added)?
2. Will the activities or services of the partnership be available to everyone?
3. Will all direct costs associated with the partnership be paid by the partnership?
4. Are the individuals involved with the partnership fully qualified to carry out the
proposed activities?
5. Do you have the demonstrated financial capacity and sound financial plan to carry out
the terms of the partnership?




Summary proposal shared with applicable
staff internally for comment/initial vetting
Draft proposal submitted. Staff
concerns/questions addressed.
Formal proposal ($1000 fee) submitted and
vetted by all applicable staff.
Once approved process of drafting legal
agreements and negotiating terms begins.





