Myron Butler began playing the piano at the age of eight and had honed his
craft by the time he placed his first major song “Lift Him Up” with the
Dallas-Ft. Worth Mass Choir at 17 years old. During this period, he joined the
Kirk Franklin produced group, God’s Property, and became the choir vocal
coach. Their self-titled debut CD eventually sold 3 million copies and Butler
shared a Grammy Award with Kirk Franklin for Best Gospel Choir Album.
Since then, he has produced for artists such as Donnie McClurkin, Smokie
Norful, Tamela Mann, Marvin Sapp, Yolanda Adams, Ted & Sheri and Donald
Lawrence, receiving Dove awards for his production on Smokie Norful’s
“Limited Edition EP” and Tamela Mann’s “Masterplan” album.
In the fall of 2005, Butler and his group Levi debuted with the Grammy nominated “Set Me Free,” a
ten-track set which won 4 Stellar Gospel. In 2007, they released the CD “Stronger” and in March 2010
Butler and Levi released their third CD “Revealed Live In Dallas,” which won the 2011 Stellar Award for Best
Contemporary Choir. In January 2012 Butler released his fourth CD “Worship.”
Butler serves as the Minister of Music at Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Potter’s House. He and his wife, Timberlyn,
reside outside of Dallas with their three children.

OCBF KIDZ DANCE MINISTRY: OCBF Kidz dance ministry is seeking children in 1st – 5th grades interested
in learning to worship God through music and dance! A special presentation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 7 in
Youth Room A for those interested in joining children’s dance. For more information, call x9278.
OCBF KIDZ MINISTRY ORIENTATION: A Ministry Orientation class is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27 from
7:30 – 8:30 pm in the EC Conference Room. Orientation is mandatory for those interested in serving in the
Children’s Ministry which includes the child care, nursery and special needs ministries.
YOUTH MINISTRY CHOIR: The OCBF Youth Choir is a great opportunity for students in 6th – 12th grades to
serve in worship, grow spiritually and musically and have fun doing it! Rehearsals are Tuesday nights beginning
September 2, 6:30 – 8 pm in the EC Youth Room A. No auditions required. For more information, call x4181

Dr. Kenneth Ulmer, lovingly
known as “Bishop,” has served as
the senior pastor-teacher of
Faithful Central Bible Church
since 1982. Currently located in
Inglewood, CA his ministry has
grown from less than 300 people
to several thousand.
Dr. Ulmer, is the former President of The King’s College
and Seminary in Los Angeles, CA where he is also a
founding board member and an adjunct professor. He
participated in the study of Ecumenical Liturgy and
Worship at Magdalene College at Oxford University in
England, has served as an instructor in Pastoral Ministry
and Homiletics at Grace Theological Seminary, as an
adjunct professor at Biola and Pepperdine Universities
and as a mentor in the Doctor of Ministry degree
program at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH.
He has earned doctorates from United Theological
Seminary and Grace Graduate School of Theology in
Long Beach, CA (currently the West Coast Campus of
Grace Theological Seminary). He was awarded an
honorary Ph.D. of Divinity from Southern California
School of Ministry.
Bishop Ulmer has been consecrated Bishop of Christian
Education of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship,
where he sat on the Bishops Council. He has served on
the boards of Biola University, The Gospel Music
Workshop of America, the Pastor’s Advisory Council to
the mayor of the City of Inglewood and on the Southern
California School of Ministry.
Dr. Ulmer is currently the Presiding Bishop over
Macedonia International Bible Fellowship, an association
of pastors representing ministries in Africa and the US.
Although he is a celebrated preacher, teacher and
prolific author, Bishop Ulmer’s greatest joy comes from
his role as a family man. Married for 35 years to his wife
Togetta, they have three children and five grandchildren.
