LBC CAMPERS ON MISSION ~ MARCH 23-27 Work Week at CAMP LIVING WATERS
near ROBERT, LA
Work projects include building, repairing, cleaning swimming pool and water slide, ground
work, painting, sewing, wiring and plumbing projects. You may stay in the RV park or
reserve a room in one of the new cottages. All meals and accomodations are provided. Or
if you prefer, you can commute from your home and just spend the day. To reserve a spot

Our ladies mission group, Contempo, will collect items for Easter baskets in the month of
March. The Easter baskets will be for the Christian based organization, Ragan's Hope. This
wonderful group helps families whose children have suffered from catastrophic injuries or
illnesses. Bring a smile to child's face this Easter. Look for the collection bins thru March 22.

PRAYER MINISTRY
LOUISIANA GOVERNOR’S PRAYER BREAKFAST~ Crowne Plaza, Baton Rouge ~April 15
If you would like to attend the Louisiana Governor’s Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday, April
15 please email our Associate Pastor Jay Johnston at [email protected] to reserve your
spot. The breakfast begins at 6:30 AM and the program begins at 7:30 and will be over by
9:00 AM. This is a wonderful opportunity to support and pray for our political leaders as
many of our state representatives and senators will be in attendance along with the executive branch of our government leaders.

MEN’S RETREAT - MARCH 27-28
DRAWING THE LINE--DISCOVERING YOUR FULL POTENTIAL
Gearl Spicer, Pastor of One Heart Church in Atlanta, GA. will be speaking at our Men’s
Retreat. We begin with a BBQ dinner Friday evening at 7:00 at Tillman Stogner’s ranch for
BBQ, music with Van Glynn, and Bro. Gearl, followed by a jam session. Bring your guitars, etc.
Saturday morning is located in The ROC. Don Phillips will be cooking breakfast at 8:30, followed by Bro. Gearl and Jeff Markey with music. Cost is $20. Register online or by contacting Glynn Robinson in the church office or at [email protected].
GOLF TOURNAMENT
The FBC GOLF SCRAMBLE YOUTH FUNDRAISER is Thursday, April 23 at Covington
Country Club. Cost is $50 a person/$200 a team, and sponsorships are available for $200$500. Sign up your team by contacting Natalie at [email protected] or call the church
office.
CR is a ministry to help individuals and family members deal with
hurts, habits and hang-ups. As a participant in Celebrate Recovery
you will be involved in a discipleship ministry that teaches biblical
truth and life application so you can live out your life as a follower of
Jesus and manage the daily pressures of life. Celebrate Recovery
meets in the Worship Center for worship and teaching followed by small-group opportunities
every Tuesday night from 7:00–9:00 PM.
THE LANDING–An intentional and purposeful discipleship ministry for students in 6th–12th
grade that meets every Tuesday night from 7:00–9:00 PM in Kid’s Worship. This ministry
provides students an opportunity to develop life skills, and make decision that are biblically
sound and Christ honoring.
Parents, Grandparents and Guardians of students in the 6th–12th grade you have an
opportunity to come and learn more about The Landing by attending an orientation
designed just for you.
