Dear Toffee Lover,
It’s been over 85 years since my grandparents, Chet and Vernie
Enstrom, rolled into Grand Junction, Colorado in their Model A
and co-founded the Jones-Enstrom Ice Cream Company. Some
54 years later, Chet perfected his recipe for almond toffee and
Enstrom Candies was born.
Now our sons, Doug Jr. and Jim, are the fourth generation of the
Enstrom family to be actively involved in the business. I believe
Chet would be so proud to see how the family tree and the
family business have thrived. The roots of tradition, so carefully
planted by my grandparents and nurtured by my parents, Emil
and Mary, have shaped a rich legacy which Doug and I are proud
to watch our boys continue today.
As we approach the 2014 holiday season, we celebrate that
legacy with our loyal family of employees and you, our extended
