Enstrom Candies began as a family business more than 55 years ago, when my
grandfather, Chet, perfected his Almond Toffee recipe and founded the company. Then,
under the direction of my parents and followed by my husband, Doug, and I, Enstrom
continues to make our Toffee using the same traditional recipe. Now our sons, Doug, Jr.,
and Jim, are the fourth generation to be actively involved in the family business, carrying
on the Enstrom legacy.
Custom Cards can be included with any catalog
product. Cards are $2.50 each and a 12-box
minimum purchase applies.
But Enstrom Almond Toffee is not just a tradition in our family. We hear incredible
stories about the role our candy plays as the perfect gift for family celebrations and in
warm memories around the world every day.

One longtime customer recently let us know that her grandparents would bring her to
the Candy Kitchen every Christmas during her childhood. “We would watch them make
Toffee and bring home a box. Such a happy memory for me,” she wrote. “Now as an

We also hear from customers who are trying to make their candy last a little longer. “I
hid the Toffee in the refrigerator vegetable bin. They found it,” wrote one Toffee fan. “I
hid it in the freezer, under the broccoli. They found it. I hid it in the garage on the tool
shelf. They found it. Finally, I hid it in the barbecue grill. They searched. They pleaded.
They whined. But eventually, they left.”
Then there’s the administrative assistant who called in a panic. Her boss had received a
box of Enstrom Toffee as a gift while he was out of town and she’d opened it to try just a
taste. Before she knew it, she’d eaten the whole box . We were able to ship her a new box
overnight and save her from a little embarrassment.
