Garden Friends BOM
Begins in April
This is a six month block of the month program, using
the Garden Friends pattern, featuring sunflowers,
animals and their homes. We will be exploring several
construction methods, as well as fusible, turned-edge
and three-dimensional embellishments.
Starting in April, between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on the
first Thursday of each month, our BOM facilitator,
Donna Sylvia, will be here to present the block, hand
out the BOM and give you tips & tricks. If you can’t
make the first Thursday, you can stop by the shop and
pick up your kit at the front desk.
Each month your fabric kit will provide the pattern and
fabric (cut by the pattern requirements so you will have
plenty to fix that mis-cut). In addition the Fabric
Accessory Pack that includes many of the unique
accents on this adorable top will come with your first
block (a $12 value). Your borders will arrive with
Block 6.
Class size is limited, so advance sign-ups are highly
recommended. Late sign-ups are possible, depending on
available space in the class.
This 3 week class will teach you
the basics of hand appliqué.
Come and join us. All fabrics,
threads and needles are supplied. Just bring your scissors.
