The Nuno Sa Punso is an old man who lives in
an anthill. He spits at people when the people
interfere with his home but why is he so evil?
Why did he turn bad? Long time ago, there
was a girl Nuno named Tale. She is fat that is
why Bakol (the name of the boy Nuno) likes
her. One day Tale was kidnapped. Every day
Bakol kept on thinking about her and if he
should go out of the anthill to find Tale. He
talked to Tandang Puten, the oldest Nuno.
Tandang Puten told him to move on and start
a new life but Bakol said he would never
forget Tale. There was a feast and everybody
wore their finest clothes. They danced, they
ate and they drank. Suddenly the ground
broke giving way to the sky. They saw a bright
light source, then all of them were trapped.
Then one night, Bakol decided to go out of
the anthill. When he was out, he felt the fresh
air that he never felt before. He saw the sun
that gives light to the surroundings. From
afar, he could see Raul's house.
Raul was a human that became their friend.
Since he was a child, Raul played with the
dwarves. He grew up with a wide intelligence
about the life of people living underground.
He respected the colony and treated like his
own family or relative. Bakol went near Raul's
house. He heard that Raul was talking to
someone on the phone and that he will be
going to China. "Don't worry, Sir, they will be
fine. They will follow or obey you. Please take
care of them and make sure that the colony
stays healthy." Bakol got goosebumps when
he heard the word "colony". He came closer
so that he could hear the conversation. In the
end, he understood what will happen. Raul
betrayed the colony. He will go to China
where the other dwarves can be found. He is
being used so that the colony will agree to
join the mission. Bakol finally decided to wait
for Raul outside his house and planned to
join him to his trip to China. He will hide
himself in one of his luggages so that he
could see Tale, his long lost girlfriend. So the
journey to China happened.
China is one of the powerful countries where
the city Xichang is located which is known as
"Base 27", where China had launched many
missions in the outer space. At present, it is
urgent to conduct a mission in the planet
Mars. The first mission was when the humans
went to the moon , or the "taikonauts", the
term used by the Chinese for astronauts. The
next mission will be done by the dwarves.
They plan to send them to Mars and will leave
them for good to start or create their own life
or destiny. If the spaceship is small and if the
passengers are little ones, it can save fuel and
also save space and that they could bring with
them water, food, air, all materials that they
need in Mars. Being small is very important
according to Fraser Cain, a writer about
science, the spaceship is next to Hohmann
transfer orbits. This is the place where two
plants meet and they have the right energy or
short capacity to shorten the travel. The
spaceship will travel around the Earth to get
force and energy. Then using the speed
button it will land to the meeting place of the
two planets, then will land on Mars.
It is important that the spaceship should
land directly on where Earth and Mars are
located because this happened only every
25th month. In other time, the travel is
longer and more fuel/gasoline, food and
other needs are needed. If they follow the
procedure, they could reach Mars only in
214 days approximately 7 months. It is very
important for the humans to do this
mission to test if they can live on Mars
because our natural resources, air, water
and other creations are being destroyed
because of nuclear radiation and pollution.
Mars is the hope, the life saver of the
human population. It is the second home if
the Earth will turn into nothing or will be
destroyed. But why did they choose the
dwarves from the Philippines to be the
volunteers to go to Mars? When in fact they
don't agree with the idea. Unfortunately in
their law the dwarves have no rights to
complain because before they came up,
they first used monkeys, dogs, cats, snakes
and more. All the dwarves and animals
have the same rights.
Bakol waited for a long period of time then
finally the day came that he finally showed
up to Raul. Raul tagged along with Bakol and
Raul brought Bakol to the colonies. Bakol's
friends were excited and happy to see him.
He is their hope. They believed that Bakol is
strong and smart. They will be saved. After
several weeks of separation, Bakol and Tale
were united once again. Bakol joined his
colony to gain their trust that he will be able
to save them. Through diligence, he
explained the importance of the real
meaning of their mission. Even though they
were captured, not all of them were forced to
do their mission or task. He showed them
the importance of patience because they
waited for it. Their destination is really
different from where they came from. "What
matters is we are together and we will live or
die together" said Bakol. Finally the colony
decided. Yes, all of them are willing to work
together to materialize the mission. "We only
have one request." Bakol said to Raul and to
the other members.
"Free the colony, send those who are alone
so that they will be together again with their
loved ones." Bakol said. "And we will stay
here and get ready to travel and go on with
our mission." Bakol added. The "miniatus"
agreed. "Miniatus" is a term they agreed for
astronauts who are dwarves. Then they
were all set and ready. They sent the news
all over the world that the first mission to go
to Mars will be them, "the little ones". They
used the spaceship which they called "Dwarf
1" that carried 500 dwarf passengers. From
Pundaquit, Zambales, Philippines, the
mission was launched and it was shown on
media like television. The whole world saw
the flag of the Philippines and China on the
spaceship. When the spaceship was out of
the Earth's gravity and they floated in outer
space, Bakol whispered to Tale "We will
become the new Adan and Eve of our
species. I am so happy and proud that we
are together again." Then Tale smiled to
Bakol and hugged him. Back on Earth the
other dwarves that were sent home started
telling the others about Bakol.

When they had finished telling the story. The
dwarves became more strict not to make
humans go near their territory. That is why
they would tend to spit on people who
trespass or destroy their home to retain their
extinction and the spit symbolizes a curse. A
curse that will make humans lives miserable
so that they will fear to go near the dwarves'
territories.
