background of the Institution...
House of Jaipurias-Commitment to Education
The House of Jaipurias is a recognized name in the Indian
Industrial arena. Their Industrial group, Ginni group of
Industries, is a front runner in the field of textile
manufacturing and exports. Their success in this field
is due largely to their philosophy to adopt cutting
edge in technology and managerial innovations. The
same philosophy of staying abreast with the latest
developments in the management field is
manifested by the promoters to the running of
Jaipuria Institute of Management.
The Jaipuria Charitable Trust / Seth Anandram
Jaipuria Education Society runs various reputed
schools and colleges in the country. A degree
College named 'Seth Anandram Jaipuria
College' founded by Seth Anandram Jaipuria
Trust in 1945 at Kolkata is now a flourishing
and famous centre of excellence in Post
Graduate Education. Its inauguration was
done during British regime by Pt. Jawahar
Lal Nehru, who became the first Prime
Minister of Independent India. On
completing 50 years of excellent
performance in academics and
extracurricular activities, the College
celebrated on 10th September, 1995, its
Golden Jubilee. At present more than
7000 students are studying there.

There are various other educational institutes run by the
Jaipuria Trust, i.e. Seth Anandram Jaipuria Inter College,
Anandnagar (U.P.) and Smt. Nani Bai Jaipuria Rajkiya Balika
Vidyalaya, Mandawa (Rajasthan). Thus, the House of Jaipuria
has already an excellent record of running efficiently
educational institutions of repute for catering to the needs of
different levels of boys and girls in the country.
It was in the year 1995, that Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education
Society felt the need to enter the field of quality management
education to further strengthen their base in promoting
excellent education and training. To fulfil this objective, they
started Jaipuria Institute of Management at Lucknow in 1995.
Encouraged by the success of the Institution at Lucknow and
increasing students' demand for more seats, Jaipuria Institute of
Management was set up at Ghaziabad in 2001 which is
equipped with modern teaching techniques and facilities.
As contribution to Society, the Jaipuria Charitable Trust has an
Eye Hospital run by Seth Anandram Jaipuria Eye Hospital
Trust at Nawalgarh (Rajasthan). It has 185 beds and is well
equipped with modern X-Ray and Operation Theatre facilities.
Public guest houses have been built at Varanasi, Haridwar,
Vindhyachal, Vrindaban and Chitrakoot (U.P.). Jaipuria Trust
has also constructed a temple by the name of 'Ram Darshan' at
Chitrakoot in the memory of Padma Bhushan late Seth M. R.
Jaipuria. The temple has been dedicated to the Nation during
November, 2000.
Another branch of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School with
excellent infrastructure has been set up at Ghaziabad and is
functional since April 2004.
JAIPURIA INSTITUTE AND JAIPURIA INSTITUTE OF
MANAGEMENT STUDIES have also been set up at
Ghaziabad, to provide quality education through various
courses in science and technology.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur
In Seth Anandram Jaipuria School at Kanpur which is today a
leading light of Northern India, stress is laid on inculcating
amongst students a spirit of Sanatan Aryan Culture through
English medium, thus bringing out the best of the East and the
West to discipline the life-style with emphasis on Indian
Culture and to impart proficiency through the versatile medium
of English. This is backed by the firm belief that character
building and acquisition of right knowledge at a young age go a
long way to groom the children to grow into disciplined, law
abiding and knowledgeable persons capable of applying these
acquired virtues to life as it unfolds itself.
