North Island Lodge Season Kick Off. A tribute to Walter Pelliccia
featuring “The Godfather of the Grill”, Chef Ted Reader and
Park Heffelfinger, owner of Memphis Blues BBQ House
Kick off the season at North Island Lodge with our 1st Annual Ultimate Grill Showdown in memory of
Walter Pelliccia. Each year this annual event will feature a Walter Pelliccia signature dish in his honor.
This year join “The Godfather of the Grill”, Chef Ted Reader and Park Heffelfinger, owner of Memphis Blues BBQ
House while they take you on a grilling adventure learning how to grill your catch as well as getting firsthand
knowledge of their signature recipes.
Each guest will receive a West Coast Fishing Club BBQ kit which includes a BBQ to take home courtesy of
WEBER BBQ’s, Ted Reader grilling cook book, signature sauces and rubs from Memphis Blues BBQ House and Ted
Reader, a custom apron and BBQ kit.
During your 5 day/4 night stay guests will experience 2 days of BBQ demo’s put on by Ted and Park. Both of these
masters of the grill will demonstrate techniques for your catch and also provide you with some of the secrets to
their signature sauces and rubs.
