Minister's Message
"Before we can embrace peace as a way of life - we must embrace
peace within us. We can't have one without the other."

We can't know peace until we become peaceful. We can't know wholeness until we think and
speak wholeness as our Truth. It's a formula for successful manifesting and yet, many of us won't
participate in our own awakening. Why? Because we don't want to do the work to bring about our
healing and transformation ourselves; we want someone else to give it to us, fix it for us, and
wave a magic wand and call it done. We are the
wand, and we posses the magic within us.
Florence Scovel Shinn said "Your word is
your wand."
Whatever is holding us back from knowing
peace, being peace, has little to do with what
lies outside us, but has everything to do with what lies within us. The life
that we now know - was first created within our own consciousness
through our thoughts, beliefs, and feelings. The only thing that can shift
and change all that - is ourselves. If we are tired of drama, trauma, and unhappiness - we must
commit to doing and being different. I say often - "Life won't shift and change - until we do!"
Do we want peace? Then we have to BE
PEACE in word, thought, action, and intention. Make amends - cleanse our past by
changing our minds - shifting our intentions,
and by taking positive action to be
renewed in body, mind, and spirit. Accountability, responsibility, proactive intentions,
and actions are the key.
TODAY I AM AWARE OF WHAT IS MINE TO DO AND BE AND I DO IT. I AM CHANGED AT DEPTH WHEN I MAKE
A COMMITMENT TO BE THE PEACE AND LOVE I DESIRE
TO EXPERIENCE. I AM ACCOUNTABLE - RESPONSIBLE AND ACTIVE IN MY OWN TRANSFORMATION - AND SO IT IS.

Women invited to Explore and
Celebrate Feminine Consciousness
The Gulf Coast
Grandmothers
Women of all ages from across the U.S. gather on the Gulf Coast annually to share their
wisdom, creativity, and power. This year’s theme is The Evolutionary Woman: Guided by the
Sacred Feminine to Pathways of Feminine Consciousness. The three-day gathering, from March
20 to 23, organized by the Gulf Coast Grandmothers, is held at Camp Beckwith, in Fairhope.
The gathering is an opportunity to meet and connect with other women for inspiration and
guidance through daily circles, workshops, meditation, music and healing arts – sharing
laughter, tears, and more.
Among the participants this year will be Kris Steinnes, the founder of Women of Wisdom
Foundation in Seattle and author of the award-winning inspirational book Women of Wisdom:
Empowering the Dreams and Spirit of Women.
The Gulf Coast Grandmothers is a collective of women of all ages that embrace the
archetype of the loving, wise grandmother. They gather yearly to reflect, rejoice, and renew
spirit together, embodying unconditional acceptance and fulfilling the ancient prophecy: “When
the grandmothers speak, the Earth will heal.”

Those who offer their talents, time, energy, and
treasure in support of our ministry are wonderful
blessings. Three people who have quietly worked behind
the scenes to enhance and improve the appearance of our
beautiful property are Karen Kouns, Dan Ryland, and Thelma Wagner.
Their determination, dedication, and love of Unity of Pensacola is a wonderful
